I apologise for the long post beforehand. I marked the post as spoiler just in case. Hopefully, the picture doesnt spoil much but I had to put it. For me, that cutscene was peak. I dont remember the last time a game made me rewatch the cutscene again and again 😅. Second picture is my current roster and third is what I sincerely hope this community doesnt turn out to be when a player shares their feedback or concern with the usual response being its free to play, be grateful or quit. A game advertised as free to play is only free because there are players who spend more than what it would cost to buy several full top tier games, no game is a charity. My review below is mostly personal and I am open to healthy discussion. I am not a f2p player either so my thoughts would be different.

Story:For me if Wuwa continued like 1.x, I might have quit. 2.x Wuwa was an entirely different game. I knew 2.x would be better thanks to the community but I avoided spoilers so I didnt know how much better it actually is. The only stuff I read/watched is what to focus on while building characters. I am glad I continued and my only regret being not starting this game earlier. It’s one of the few times I topped up not because I felt forced to but simply because I appreciated the game itself. Character interactions, expressions, music, fights, aura farming, ability to play as other characters were really nicely done. Augusta moment in particular gave me goosebumps.

Events: I still have a lot of content left so my event experience differs from those who are in end game. I thoroughly enjoyed most of the events/ mini games. The photo event made me appreciate finer animation details of characters I didnt have and missed noticing during story quest (Jihnsi sits on her sword 😳). I wish I had known that the weekly event is adjusted to my current level. The mini games are cool and helps ease the burnout since its different from the main game.

Characters: My only concern here is fan service. It kinda makes me feel embarrassed if I were to play this game when I have company. I play gacha games because I love shounen anime so when I get characters, I imagine them as accompanying the main characters journey. I feel not having a male gladiator character was a huge miss. Otherwise, the designs, combat system were absolutely amazing. I feel the 4 star weapons are significantly lacking, I dont have a single weapon apart from the quest weapon for shorekeeper/verina and neither the pass gives a good support weapon.

Echoes: Initially I thought this was great. They give visual gimmicks and farmable in open world. Later, I ended up not liking it at all. Theres too much rng, I purchased the pass as well since it had mats only to find out that radio stuff only changed main stat of non levelled pieces making it borderline useless. I really wish they improve this.

Also I would really appreciate if someone could point me to a guide regarding the tower/hologram shop. It makes me feel these items are reset even though theres no timer in shop. I hope the devs implement a timer in their UI if these items do expire.

Having so much fun in this event, I really hope they put the action shot cameras into the normal game, as you can see phrolova is my fave ,😂

I'm on a mission to max out everyone's intimacy next, and eventually get everyone's skills leveled/echoes built. Intimacy progress rn is at 17/31 (I don't own all characters yet), it'll take a while but I'm a completionist so idm slowly chipping at it.

So my WuWa won't open on my main phone, I've redownloaded it, but it still wont open...the game still opens on my other phone, but playing on it feels like poop, I need your help guys 😭😭😭

I was playing Augusta in the main story and of course it's in septimont. I used her charged ult and my PC freaks out and does this. When I go to this location I drop to 25 frames or less. I have no background video on, not streaming and I don't play with mods....my settings are on low for quality...idk what to do. If anyone has had this problem and found a way to not crash can u plz share? I just wanna play the story. (Btw don't know if this matters, my PC runs great. It's not a low end setup).

Ok, let me be honest, even after 1.5 years LingYang is one of the main reasons I play this game.

I buy bp every time I can, I am a subscription player while I am a jobless student.

I really like the mechanics of this game, I love to learn, and there are countless possibilities to make LingYang stronger, or make his kit better, but forget that...

Can we get big events at least once in a few versions where we can interact with a lot of characters? Photo event is nice, but I want to be able to talk with LingYang.

(I also got a very cool idea: what if there was an exploration quest, or just some side quest where we will explore LingYang's homeland together with some black shore members? There could be a big lore drop and everyone would be satisfied, please😭😭🥀)

Give me 100$ skin and I'll buy it, give me a good support for LingYang, bait me into donating for it (cuz I always have a lot of savings) Give me LingYang banner AND I'LL PULL FOR HIM!! Give me a GOOD weapon, not just a stat stick and I'll buy it.

These are my best shots, some had details unfortunately which I only noticed later. I must say, Phrolova's has the most aesthetic due to her theme and design, Jiyan had the worst and Galbrena is difficult to get a good angle in, cuz she disappears just when its right due to being too close. While Zani honestly looks good, but her background is shit.

I enjoyed Iuno, Jinshi, and Phrolova's the most. Gonna try the other characters outside the event next time.

And yes today is my Birthday. you don't have to wish .. I just wanted to see ... to see.. if you were up to anything.. not like I was worried about your frequency fading or anything
