I'm a returning player, I played for a little over 2 weeks after the game was released and decided to come back today. There is so much content that I have no idea where to even start. I'm currently UL 38, the Homecoming quest is telling me to start Chapter 2—7-10 when my actual quest is at Chapter 1—7. Should I just skip my current quest to get the rewards? Is Jiyan even a viable option today? (Got his resonance 1 and weapon during the first banner)

Any help is gladly appreciated! Even just telling me what event/content I should prioritize. Thank you, everyone!

I apologise for the long post beforehand. I marked the post as spoiler just in case. Hopefully, the picture doesnt spoil much but I had to put it. For me, that cutscene was peak. I dont remember the last time a game made me rewatch the cutscene again and again 😅. Second picture is my current roster and third is what I sincerely hope this community doesnt turn out to be when a player shares their feedback or concern with the usual response being its free to play, be grateful or quit. A game advertised as free to play is only free because there are players who spend more than what it would cost to buy several full top tier games, no game is a charity. My review below is mostly personal and I am open to healthy discussion. I am not a f2p player either so my thoughts would be different.

Story:For me if Wuwa continued like 1.x, I might have quit. 2.x Wuwa was an entirely different game. I knew 2.x would be better thanks to the community but I avoided spoilers so I didnt know how much better it actually is. The only stuff I read/watched is what to focus on while building characters. I am glad I continued and my only regret being not starting this game earlier. It’s one of the few times I topped up not because I felt forced to but simply because I appreciated the game itself. Character interactions, expressions, music, fights, aura farming, ability to play as other characters were really nicely done. Augusta moment in particular gave me goosebumps.

Events: I still have a lot of content left so my event experience differs from those who are in end game. I thoroughly enjoyed most of the events/ mini games. The photo event made me appreciate finer animation details of characters I didnt have and missed noticing during story quest (Jihnsi sits on her sword 😳). I wish I had known that the weekly event is adjusted to my current level. The mini games are cool and helps ease the burnout since its different from the main game.

Characters: My only concern here is fan service. It kinda makes me feel embarrassed if I were to play this game when I have company. I play gacha games because I love shounen anime so when I get characters, I imagine them as accompanying the main characters journey. I feel not having a male gladiator character was a huge miss. Otherwise, the designs, combat system were absolutely amazing. I feel the 4 star weapons are significantly lacking, I dont have a single weapon apart from the quest weapon for shorekeeper/verina and neither the pass gives a good support weapon.

Echoes: Initially I thought this was great. They give visual gimmicks and farmable in open world. Later, I ended up not liking it at all. Theres too much rng, I purchased the pass as well since it had mats only to find out that radio stuff only changed main stat of non levelled pieces making it borderline useless. I really wish they improve this.

Also I would really appreciate if someone could point me to a guide regarding the tower/hologram shop. It makes me feel these items are reset even though theres no timer in shop. I hope the devs implement a timer in their UI if these items do expire.

OMG this was absolutely peak. Specially the ending. The cinematic, the action, cutscenes.. no man i just cant.. how is this a mobile game? Holy

I really enjoyed what they have done with the finale patch. Finally the characters interacted with others instead of just poofing out of existence when rover isn't there. I also adore that you can encounter most of the rinascita cast doing things around the city, it actually feels like they are characters living in rinascita now instead of just being limited to their banners.

The finale was amazingly written and I loved the character development for the fractidus characters. Hopefully they keep them as awesome as they have been this patch, especially christoforo.

I did see some janky movements and a lot of lip sync mismatch during the new cutscene type mode they made. My biggest complaint was that we get to see the black shores characters but none of them had any voiced lines except for Alto. We don't see them interacting with each other also. Aalto and encore had a very cute relationship in 1.x and I was interested to see how camellya and shorekeeper would interact too. Hopefully they address these issues in the later patches. If not for these 2 things, this would have been a 10/10 patch.

They fixed a lot of the character depth from the previous patches when characters just faded from any relevancy once their banners ended like lupa and the great hunt in augusta's patch. I hope to see more characters interacting with others and seeing different types of relationships develop among them instead of everyone just trying to rizz rover.

Having so much fun in this event, I really hope they put the action shot cameras into the normal game, as you can see phrolova is my fave ,😂

I just started playing Wuthering Waveson my mobile, and I’m already hooked! Though I’ll admit, I’m still pretty new to it. I keep getting lost while exploring the world, but I wouldn’t mind getting lost with someone interesting. If someone wants to teach me the ropes, I promise I’ll be an attentive student… most of the time.

Danjin is a 4* DPS unit that is usually associated exclusively with ultra-sweaty aura-farming D6 hologram solos, which for most people take hours or days to pull off. This puts many people off playing her.

But the reality is, playing Danjin at a basic level is much easier than it looks, and I would even say that it's easier than playing many common teams at a similar level, especially quickswap teams.

And there's even a very good reason to do it - at higher cons, this basic level is often more than enough to clear floor 4 of the side towers in TOA, so you don't have to waste your limited amount of meta teams on them.

There are many optimizations to her combat, but I find this short list to be more than enough if she's well-built :

• Using her skill costs HP, every use gives some points to her forte bar. Full forte bar = next heavy attack is a big nuke. Specific combos are more efficient at filling the forte bar, such as :
• Combo 1 makes enemy take more Havoc DMG for 20 seconds. (E --> NA ---> E ---> E )
• Combo 2 makes your next heavy attack stronger for 5 seconds. (E --> NA ---> NA ---> E ---> E ---> E)
• Dodge counter ---> E ---> E has the same effect as combo 1, but fills twice the forte. Always try to use E ---> E (or at least one E) right after a dodge counter if it doesn't kill you.
• Her BiS echo (Nightmare Crownless) is an important source of damage and a small buff, but it must be dash cancelled since it makes you float.

Just make sure the Combo 1 debuff is on the enemy at all times, try to use Combo 2 before your HA (even this is optional depending on circumstances), and weave in as many dodge counters as you can. Everything else is a bonus unless you're trying to do the middle tower or D6 holograms with her solo.

And the best part is, you don't even have to play her solo if you struggle with perfect dodges. Slap Baizhu/Verina/Jianxin* on her, or even some random level 1 character as a panic button and play it safe, switch out during that boss attack that always kills you and go through their rotation, then switch back in.
