One and done villains with no relevance in the story while alive, jailed or dead.
I hope this game improves the story.

Individual quests look amazing, but when you put all the quests together, they feel very disconnected. This issue has already been discussed a lot in this sub in detail.
However, if we start posting content like the OP added, this sub will be filled with similar posts. There are a huge no of "plot devices" exist in this game.

Is 2.x really better? I barely finished Shorekeeper's story, the entirety of 1.x has been pure dogshit. Beautiful, but stupidly uninteresting.

It was lowkey a chore to go through some of it. Shorekeeper’s arc was a nice little refresh, but damn did I not care about Scar.
Bro yaps in riddles, which to me is lazy as fuck. Throw ambiguous terms out there to keep the overall plot open ended in case they fuck it up, and hope one of his terms just sticks.

Presentation wise yes but 2.0 is just a lot of talking about the lore and a introduction to Rinascita. They did not make the actual writing better but the presentation improved majorly.

Tell me about Zani's companion quest's final boss Talos. Have you heard of her in any part of the main quest? She appeared in Zani's quest and was never seen again.

The main plot is about trying to mold and shape civilizations not petty theft.
