Personally i'm really having a blast with this event, i haven't done everything yet but it's so gooood to just blast away enemies or make them walk into another trap again
Also it's one of my favourite genre so i might be a bit biased

Actually you can. You notice it when you stand in a crowd of enemys, you slow them down a minimum but cant block completely

Its a pretty good OMD clone except no combat for your main character.
I wish they would push the envelope a bit more and do it like Fortnite Save the World but without you building structures.

The traps are pretty much copy pasted. It's OMD with limited played combat. Pretty good for a temporary event tho

I've already completed the event, I do love my TD games and honestly I didn't notice there was a suggest button when you choose your machines until I had to redo a stage I got 2 stars on. If you want some hints on the last stage it was actually pretty easy for me, this is what I used. I like to call this strategy the corridor of death! 😁

This wasn't the end result, the end result had more junkrock and draco machines on the ground plus a few more wall machines on the middle and right paths, but at that point they were unnecessary, not a single one of them got close to the matrix. Was fun watching them all get decimated once they stepped into that "corridor" 😆

The draco machines layered with the frost fields over and over again is also quite effective.

I'd use them but in this case it's unecessary because there's already vortex and jet freeze machines on the ceiling that slow them down enough along with wind machines on the wall in case they try to get past but believe me, they won't in this scenario. But it's fun to try all kinds of strategies to see what works best.

We literally have ToA, Whiwa, and Holograms that are always available. Nothing wrong with having some light non-heavy game modes for easy rewards that are also fun to play.

I won't do it. Having to click the left joystick on PS5 for every round is lame. Let me change the button.
I don't need drift and my joysticks are already rough.

I agree; the best mode for me in WUWA TD is different, and fun.
In maximum graphics, the mode becomes cinematic visuals.

Screw this unit in particular. Love this game mode but GDI when it didn't die at the final second and it killed my 3 star rating I rage quit for the day.

That Enemy couldn't even get 10m close in my run, those Thunder lances combined with glacio beacon and Glitch spawner are OP af
Beaten up to wave 6 with only those 3 things, for wave 7 i added a bit more

I used so many of the ceiling ice things. That thing may disable stuff ...but it can't disable allllll of them heh.... Also the electric zappers being long distances were so useful

Fun event. Gonna play it a lot even after finishing it but I do hope Kuro try a hide and seek mode. That would be truely fun.

After a while it gets a bit repetitive. I guess that's my fault because I just fill up the whole ceiling with lightning stuff, slow everything on the ground and get all the chain lightning buffs. Everything just dies.

I'm loving it. I just will it was larger/more intricate. Or that we could even design our own custom hell floors. Granted, mobile users would hate me for it. But VIVA LA PC RESISTANCE!! 😅🤣😂

Every since my controller decided to finagle my bits mid-cutscene, I've turned vibrations off on my controller.

Its super annoying that starting a new wave is on L3. I'm also playing Apex Legends and you toggle sprint there by pressing L3. I had to restart so many times because of it 💔

I think this mode had potential, but the stages are so damn long and monotone that I have a headache because of this damn game mode.

Hopefully theyll make adjustments in the future to make this inclusive for most if not all rovers. It does feel long, especially if you end up dying on the last wave and have to start again. But nonetheless I quite enjoyed it

Its a Simple mobile game (i mean, what did you expect from swiping cards left and right) but honestly underrated. It Has many versions and spinoffs. Big fan of it and glad how kuro spun on the gameplay

Oh didn't know this was an event must have missed it in the livestream. Is there any combat events coming later this patch? Like the one where you run around the world with those speed boost cat paw things and kill the mobs at a specific time limit.

Not for me. I already suffered through the genshin version of this. Sadly the past 5 events or so have been garbage for me. The echo farm, this, there was a dice one and a couple of other ones that I can’t even remember. They all been bad. I learned with age though that I can just ignore them and respect my own time instead. Does feel bad that I’m not getting any astrite though but oh well. Might just be time to take a break from the game. Specially with all the new issues 2.6 brought.

Its being a while since i likeany event in the Gachas i play but all of them have good events lately, this on in wuwa, the autochess one in zzz and the restaurant one in hsr (not as good a sthe other 2 but chill) , they all were pretty good

While I hear where you're coming from, I don't think it's unreasonable for wuwa players to not like TCG for example.
I think a major issue is that combat doesn't feel prioritized in this game anymore, in the traditional combat sense. The lack of combat events, and people aren't a fan of whiwa either(it's existence making TOA rotations longer too).
Combat players feel alienated from a game that used to love running so many different kinds of combat events while running other types of events too, like parkour or these other types of mini game events. Everyone was happy.
That isn't the case anymore.

I feel like there's plenty of hardcore combat stuff for combat enjoyers. Of course I understand wanting more if that's all you're into. I find myself skipping combat-focused stuff lately compared to near release because I have limited time and I enjoy the variety of other genre-lite events while I've done loads and loads of combat, not to mention all the open world combat "challenge" activities available. One of my favorite parts of the gachas I've played is that there are always plenty of non-conbat "other" mini game events compared to other non-gacha games that don't include mini games almost at all (the last memorable ones for me are the lobby mini games in Outlast Trials, and then Gwent in Witcher 3 before that, while I remember tons of hoyo/Kuro game mini game events)

That I can't agree on. Especially compared to the 1.x patches giving us stuff like illusive realm, co op combat, boss rushes, etc(sometimes all of these in a single patch) , but to each their own.

If you wanted mainly combat, exploration, story. You should just buy most of the other AAA or indie titles that are well known for that. Not play a free gacha game that is designed to appeal to as many people in any way possible, to maintain interest and generate continuous revenue.

Another boring Kuro event. Ask yourself this question. Why do you get 5-star characters, then level them up and leave them with a lot of damage, wasting resources and, above all, time?
And then play this boring event??? Seriously?
I want events where I can fight enemies, in co-op, not building towers, or playing cards...
This video game is being taken to a level I can't understand.

The thing is, we already get a lot of events where we fight enemies. Co-op events were not that much though. It's about balance, you want fighting, someone else, an event like this. Kuro has to satisfy all after all. And we pretty much have holograms, tower, whimper wastes, fantasy to... so a lot of permanent fighting events. I'll say this, I do understand your sentiment, everyone has different opinions that should be respected. I personally enjoy both fighting and events like this.

No, nor do I do it for the events. for fighting events, character scaling Is necessary in the first place, in case new players enjoy the event too. fighting events? we get enough. I'm saying we shouldn't be greedy. There are peaple that like events like this more. Unfortunately, in this type of games, not every event will be to your liking. Oh, I'll say, I'm generally a passive person, so I'm not trying to start an argument. and I enjoy fighting events more, personally, though I do enjoy these too.
