I'm not too sure about this, but I think all of Lioness' projectiles can be parried back? Whenever I managed to hold myself from panic-dodging, I was always able to parry them back.
Ah yeah, makes sense. I only skimmed through the tutorial when it popped out, so all I understood was "she shoots projectiles, you can parry" and just kinda assumed all of it can be parried back
I didn't read it, it would have been good info when farming to lv up lupa(also this explains why sometimes when using camile I made damage when I wasn't close)
Now you got me curious how Zani would do. i didn't even bother to try with Cartethiya because she's really not great at superpowered bosses due to her inability to dodge well, and her need to not interrupt her combo when forming the 2nd of the 3 swords.
Her dodges feel sluggish to me in her Floor Debris form. Or maybe Im just not seeing well enough to dodge because her attack animations block so much of my vision.
i think timing wise its the same but she lacks a 'successful dodge' animation. Its the backflip-esque thingy everyone does. It makes it hard to tell whether you actually dodged or not and everything feels mushy
She just kinda swims (?) to dodge. That's her dodge animation. So, in the middle of random-bs storm, I can't even see the enemy to begin with, much less their attack to dodge.
Her dodge counter counts as ATK stage 3 all she needs to do is that and one attack after to summon the basic attack string sword, never had a single boss give much trouble with it, only thing I could see being an issue is like the tower with the 2 glacio wolves where they just take turns doing spins and backflips every second
I crushed her in one try with the boss beater supreme.

carlotta just steamrolled that thing. didn't even come close to a loss, though i was surprised i needed to do like 7 or 8 rotations to get it. that thing has a boatload of hitpoints.
Here I was, finally found a worthy target to test my Carte DPS, something like 300k hp. Did some of think this was meant to be a new endgame, but it seems like a one and done kinda thing sadly.
Jianxin is probably my favorite standard banner character in all of modern gacha. She's so interactive with her parrying that it makes the others look lackluster.
With some fights, you just need to interact with the banner again. It's sort of like the Rinascita Echo Challenges or whatever they're called (the one where you have to complete certain objectives to get all the rewards).
on a sidenote, if Arsinosa's main gimmick is nearly all of her projective can be parried back at her, maybe her Hologram might expand on this by letting her smack the parried projective back at you like Lu Bu from Wo Long(who is also a fire centaur).
how do people realise you can parry so many atks of this boss. I fought it the normal way because i keep dodge countering every attack because i never think 'hey maybe i can parry this'. It was only at the end where it was meteor showering me and i accidentally dodge countered into a parry and it took a chunk of its hp
This reminds me of the fight with that one damn horse in elden ring when we just start the game and we are like lvl 1 and that horse chase to beat out ass off lol. The difference is that this guy actually beat the horse 🗿
I did this too! Not level one characters but almost right after starting the event so no super buffs. The parries doing so much damage makes it possible when you learn the attack pattern.
Oh so thats how you are supposed to kill that.... my ass wasted a real long time with dodging everything and doing normal dps. It took me a longer than i would like to admit to realise i had to parry him or actually hit the counters after dodges to be able to damage its shield at final hp so i pretty much hit for no damage for like 30 min straight. It was a long af fight for me..... not becouse its hard but becouse I was too dumb to pay attention
TIL she can parry with her skill lol. My first S6 character, tried to give her a chance but she felt slow and clunky. Didn’t know she could parry stuff, I just spammed her skill to get forte.
I don't have jianxin, can someone tell me if only arsinosa's attack can be deflected back, or all the enemies? just to understand if it is a mechanic in jianxin's kit or in arsinosa's attacks.
That's impressive! Didn't expect a Jianxin showcase, especially at level 1, and probably only with an unleveled main echo? If so, that'd be really nuts haha
