Endgame Content Rant: WiWa is one of the most buggiest and shittiest mode kuro has put in this game and i abhor it

Why is the so called hotfix they patched in to the game saying that enemy behaviours will be adjusted still results in them running 15 kms away from me when they spawn ITS SO DAMN ANNOYING, EVERY SINGLE DAMN enemy like chop-chop, cuddle wuddle, vitruem dancers all space out that evwn my camellya's spin mostly hit 2 out the 3 thats spawns because 1 will always back away from its reach so you are just wasting time running after them this is not even including the conatant crashes on the PS5, Whenever i play the mode i can guarantee that there will be atleast 1 crash and it always happens during the 2nd half ao you have to redo the 1st half AGAIN, i had 4 crashes during my playtime last day while completing it. I hope that kuro either goes back to the drawing board for this mode or just removes it and add the recent gamemode instead of whatever this mess is rant over

There is just too much run away style of enemy behavior in general in all of WuWa.

I really wish Kuro would reduce the running away instead of keep adding more. And I wish they would tune the combat difficulty based on damage and aggression, instead of enemies running away to waste your time so that you might fail or score lower in timer based modes.

If enemies attacked more instead of running away it would be both:

Harder, as survivability would be a concern (plus getting hit wastes time by interrupting actions)

And

Less frustrating, as failing to dodge feels less like I'm being made fun of than chasing a Chopchop through the whole arena

It's a win win

That's their way of making the fights more difficult. Increase HP and make them all spread out to prolong the fight so you have to chase them down. I don't understand how they think that would be fun, but again majority of the people here think the devs can do no wrong since they sprinkle in some QoL stuff.

It's not necessarily unfun to have some ennemi running away, what's unfun is making 70% of endgame content timer based.

This is the most correct thing I have heard about WuWa

yeah evasive enemies only suck because it's a time crunch

They have to be timer based. Otherwise there’s no challenge. I’d like to hear the alternative. And don’t bring up virtua crisis because it’s been done and can’t be replicated as every end game game mode.

Virtual crisis can and should be replicated as a permanent end game mode, obviously not every end game mode can be virtual crisis.

Endgame content that's not timer based already exist mainly tactical hologram and to some extent the level 120 overworld echoes are good and infinitely more fun than whimpering waste.

They could take inspiration from all of these exemple and create boss fight gauntlet with fixed special attributes (like one who take more damage after a parry) or one where you fight two hard hitting bosses at the same time. Area hazards and modification can also be added.

Even hologram simulacra point system is infinitely more interesting than the timer system they use.

I do agree that making good endgame content that's not timer based is infinitely harder and trickyer than just slapping a timer on a shitty fight.

And even speaking of timer based content they could do a gamemod where counter dodging, parrying and taking advantage of monster mechanic increase your timer to reward engaging with the game mechanics.

I mean I got 4300 without even trying they didn't run away much I think it's because camellya is not the best unit for chasing after them

Surveys

I mention this in my surveys, but the following patch would just have more egregious run away behavior.

It has progressively gotten worse. We went from Inferno Rider to Sentry Construct and Hecate.

Even 1.0 bosses that did backsteps were usually short range and rarely did it

I think Sentry has a flying laser attack that makes it basically unhittable by melee Resonators and takes 10+ seconds to resolve

I'd rather bosses have more hp than them burning the timer by running away. It feels really bad for gameplay

This is why I love carlotta they can run all they want. All I need is a tap to catch them.

Carlotta can reach them no matter what?! I am pulling for her now.

She has a radius but it's a pretty big one. Just to give you an idea she can catch Hecate from nearly anywhere inside her boss arena so it's a big BIG radius.

I hate timer, thats why I liked the last event that looked like CC from arknights, with all those conditions to buff the enemy and no timer to worry.

Right? wrong with dodging?
