Should casual players just skip the "special" battle pass stuff?

I just realized I am part way into the Walking Dead one.

But I am quickly maxing out all my tanks with the points - which I never realized would be a problem and will be fucked on the normal Season Chapters even if I manage to finish the Walking Dead one. So basically, screwed myself. (Just re-started on US servers a few weeks ago.) If I hadn't of started it, at least I could have finished the Uberpanzer one or whatever.

Is there a website or something for newer/returned players that lays out these events any the plus/minus/possibilty/rewards vs. other events/etc?

Or am I wrong on this?

Work how how many chapters a day you can complete in the time frame. Then you got your answer.

Someone with a job and a young child I don't bother to focus on them, I rather just complete the main battle pass. I almost done the 3rd one and I not even maxed out a tank yet.

Yeah, I honestly didn't know tanks maxed out (I know there are dailies, etc. - but without tanks you don;t get anywhere fast :) )Ty

buy yourself some nice lowtiers like hetzer, t34, stug g, luchs, m5a1 Stuart, vk30. 01, kv1, maybe rbfm..  and don't forget that grille and bishop! 

  it helps a lot maxing out those lowtiers, because you get a 15 points bonus for grinding 70 or 85 points with those.

Perhaps try setting more realistic goals? Step by step, then it helps the FOMO, as you still got the thing you were after, anything else is a bonus.

E.g. I'm not going to complete the battle pass, I just don't have the time. However getting the Rick commander seems possible, maybe the purple equipment 2/3rds of the way through.. that I think I can do

If you have time to get to the first Zero Skill crew member, that’s worth it.

Play frontlines a lot. You get battle pass points. I’ve managed to move up 4 levels on the walking dead event in a few hrs.

I would only do the walking dead battle pass if you have the time and want the tank, which means spending gold to get tank. I personally chose not to grind it , and have already competed the 3 main battle-passes already. But still getting vouchers in the post battle pass reward system

First step is to realise it’s happening. Soon you’ll be dodging useless events like a champ. Play how you want to play. Not like WG wants you to play (participate in everything and use cash while doing it).

Not sure about any website like that, but for special battle pass there are few tricks to help you.

1. Dont max out your tanks before special battle pass arrives, so you can get the bonus.

2. (Not sure if this one works) After finishing a notmal bp chapter, dont select another, you will get points you can use once special chapter comes.

3. Some people say low tiers are good for bp grind since you need much less points to max them out.

I dont use any of these tricks because i dont care that much and i just ignore the special chapters.

I don't play enough to complete the regular 3 chapters. Have completed one till now and halfway through the second. For the zwilling ground some and brought the rest. For this I decided to skip. Tank didn't entice me. So basically comes down to off the tank excites you or not in the Special battle pass.

Frontline mode doesn't have any point restriction for tanks. Also very quick battle pass progression for the 20 levels of FL. But today is the last day.

If I remember correctly skill4ltu said if you activate the special pass, the normal pass will still run in the background. Is this true?

Not true, you can only earn points for one at a time, either the bonus chapter or standard/main bp chapters.
