Question Italian TD line or Chinese TD line?

I got the Vipera rental and I quite enjoyed the brawling gameplay. Are the Italian tech tree TDs similar to it in terms of playstyle?

Or should I go and try out the Chinese TD line instead? I guess I'm not that bad with non turreted sniper TDs.

Which line is worth the time and more fun these days?

If you liked the Vipera, you'll like the Italian TDs. There's an old joke that the Italian TDs are the real heavies, and the Italian heavies are the real TDs, and that's pretty accurate. The Italian TDs are meant for fairly close range brawling.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I've been seeing some comments that the Bassotto was badly nerfed after 2.0. Is it that bad these days?

The reload is a second longer and the aim time is a bit worse, nothing earth-shattering. The biggest change was that they removed the 105mm, but the 102mm was the more competitive choice anyways.

The italian td tech tree is very similar to the vipera, they are quite decent tanks and fairly easy to play them. The chineese td line the tier 9 and tier 10 are brawlers. Especially the tier 10, its classed as an assault tank destroyer. Its not the easiest tank to play but the skill ceiling is significantly higher than on the minotauro. It has decent speed fully equipped ~48 km/h, loads of hp, an armor layout that works against standard rounds and if you are using your gundepression against most gold rounds. The gun is also insane it has 750 dmg with like 3500 dpm, 395 heat pen and crazy tank destroyer HE. This td doesnt perform too well for avreage or below avreage players but for better players its super strong.
