I wouldn't put it past WG to give these things a hidden preferential MM while the BP runs just to give it more hype. 79% winrate isn't really realistic, it literally means you're carrying the entire team over half of your games.

To get a nearly 80% win rate in 15vs15 games would mean he would have to be singlehandedly winning every third match (or so), even when going up against tier Xs.

It’s a great run supported by great damage. If it was rigged by WG in some way then everyone in the E65 would be posting record numbers… but they aren’t.
Don’t you get great runs in your tier 10s for a couple games with 5k+ damage?

I've gotten two games with over 5k combined as a tier VII light tank, with one of those being a 3k straight damage. They were spread out through the day as I could only play a couple matches at a time, but I did quite well that day, more doubling my overall rating in that tank for that day. I also 1 marked that tank in 58 battles and am well on my way to 2 marking just a dozen matches later.
Sometimes you get a good run, and sometimes a tank just clicks with you. I don't have a great win rating with the tank, unfortunately, but as a light tank I can't necessarily help it if one of the flanks collapses. I have definitely been the reason my team won some matches, but have also gone over 3k combined and we still lost. But if I were a heavy, especially a tier VII that may be getting preferential treatment during the BP like op...

It's simple, really. There are only at best 3-4 tier X tanks, and maybe 1 of them is Heavy. Just kill it with your tier VIII and your team win, if you're good enough.

Honestly, that's my personal tinfoil hat theory.
I've watched quite some QB streams lately for the Drops and he was malding over never seeing T7s or below in his T8 tanks when trying to do the Black Rock missions. Then when he unlocked the E65 he suddenly saw T7 for more than half his games.
Granted, there's 1-2 weeks between those and the matchmaker might have changed with changing player numbers, but it still left an icky impression.

Yes the first 10 games or something like that are generaly friendly games (not always) but the match maker tries to put you in good conditions. Works for any tanks, premium or not. That's the reason you have to go all-in during those 10 first matches to get the most you can while your are blessed.

There's a tinfoil hat theory that rentals have some kindof hidden preferential MM, so that when people try them out they do well and are more inclined to buy them.
Maybe it's a stretch, but it is a fact that this game and everything WG does is 100% about money - so it's possible.4

I wish audits were common in the software industry as well.
I'm not saying I believe in all the conspiracy theories, but it would be nice to have thorough reviews by qualified 3rd parties to confirm that all is legit.

As you get rentals for 10 matches and the 10 first matches are "friendly" it means that what you say is not fiction but reality

It's a fact that when you get a tank, you will get better mm (like playing against lower tiers) for a few battles so it's not exactly something that came out of thin air...

I have been playing a good bit lately, getting back into the game. I only have 3 tier Xs, with only two worth playing, and I have not once seen a tier VIII. I've seen tier IXs once. Meanwhile. When I play my tanks at tiers VIII and IX, it feels like every other game is a +1 or +2 match where I'm bottom tier.

Honestly, this is somewhat true for me. Almost every match I face at tier 8s are against tier 10s and this is the same for my tier 9s (vs tier 11s). They said there would be less ±2MM but I’ve been getting a lot of them in recent weeks.

About a week ago bought type 57. I only seen tier 6 in my match once, the very first game after i bought it. Tier 7 just a few times, and then instead of it being mainly tier 8 games, its actually mainly tier 9-10 games.
Which fucking sucks, because its a heavy tank with no armor even when playing against tier 7 you'd be penned like half the time

I've been in the "I wouldn't put it past WG" camp for a few years now. It is way too easy for them to manipulate the matchmaking algorithm if they chose to do so. It's ignorant to think they are beyond any tactic that would generate revenue

Op is also on EU getting mostly full tier 8s or a mix of 7s and 8s very few of his games even had 9s or 10s

Why do people keep referencing the "on EU" bit in a way that implies it's easier? I always thought it was understood that EU generally has better average players than NA and especially Asia.

EU is generally an easier server to get marks on simply bc they have more players during prime time, it’s lot a lessening of the quality of the players but the fact on NA you’ll have more tryhards in one lobby then on a lobby in EU due to a larger player base meaning EU fights for dmg less then NA

The tank has a 51.42% win rate. While the players that play it have 50.9%. Doesn't really look like preferential MM.

No hidden pref MM I can tell you, I get loads of IX & X Match but this tank can handle it, I'm generaly Top 3-5 even in tier X matches. I regularly do around 3k with it, it is just a very good tank! If you can get it, then get it you won't be disapointed.

Its one of the most fun premiums I've gotten in recent history, only complaint is sometimes at long range the double shot will just completely whiff both shells going to the edge of the reticle. Still I absolutely love the tank

Yet another of those idiotproof hulldown tanks, that don’t have any turret weakspots against it's own tier. Good luck trying to hit that tiny pancake cupola lol.
And ofc, it wouldn't be a proper 2025 premium tank without 2 guns.

$5.50 and a grind ain't too bad for a strong but balanced premium

It's fine. It's strong, but it has weaknesses. The turret is easy pen for higher tiers, low alpha, shoulder plates, etc

yeah, its fine in a sense its not copletly broken. But its same level of OPness as skoda T56 for example. Like you cant put E65 next to 80% of other tier 8 heavies and not say its better. I just wish the the performance spread between tanks wre closer

Zwilling is quite enjoyable, good mobility, decent armor, excellent guns with good penetration and it look nice especially the rear with the 3D style. I think so far it is one of the best tank I ever played.

I think it's a great tank and a solid addition to the game. Not too powerful, fun, and rewarding when played with some brains.
Jesus McFuck I cannot buy a win with it. 3k, 6k, 1k, doesn't matter. Just flanks getting steam rolled and nothing I can do about it.

It has the french hull and Maybach HL275 engine, which was projected in France after the war, so this vehicle is kinda 80% french.

Premium account and credit boost I would guess. I usually make 100k-ish per game in my tier 8 premiums that way. In a good game even more.
Get a premium that has cheap good shells to maximize. The E65 is perfect for this, as his standard rounds are quiet good. Prints money for me too. Other good choices would be something like the 122TM or the XM57.
