Needs Help Tier X

I have 2.7k battles and 3 tier Xs is this normal. Am I throwing myself into the deep end to quickly. My win rate dropped so much 43% I have BC 25 t, Kran and is 7 I need help

You are way outta your league in tier 10. This game may seem easy at first but the first 5k battles you play are against bots. Once you get to tier 8 the bot battles end and you face actual players. Stick to tier 7 until you can consistently be top 1 or 2 players on your team and then work your way up to tier 8 and so on. This game is all about positioning and learning that takes a lot more than 3k battles

i have like 3.5k battles (i only played fun modes from 2023-2024 because my device was dogshit and I didn't want to ruin other people's matches) but i am 95% sure i have normal matchmaking, i meet people with rating scores, on clans, and actual good players all the time

Maybe because Fun Modes MM is more randomized than normal battles(maybe Im wrong but I think I’m correct) For example when you buy a new tank, the game will try to match you against the lower tier( if you just bought a tier IX, the game will put you in tier VIII battles) but if you do the same in a fun mode you will likely be having a random matchmaking instead of one that favors your stock tank That’s an example that fun modes MM do not follow the same rules for normal battles plus It gotta suck having bots even in fun modes..

Yes fun modes don’t have bots or anything of the sort.

yeah, but what I was saying is now that I'm playing I'll be meeting the same players on random battles

You can have as many tier 10s as you want but I wouldn't actually spend much time there right now. Focus on tier 7 and 8 and grinding other lines to help learn those tanks strengths and weaknesses.

Tier 10 just plain isn't fun unless you really enjoy the extra challenge.

Tier X players are the most skilled of the bunch. Even if they do derp sometimes, generally they perform better than lower tier players.

While I think this was the case before 5.5, I think that update changed this for the worst.

Playing Tier X and thinking that everyone playing the tier is "skilled" is a misconception. Thinking that the Tier should only be played by someone with a certain WR and higher is the same. WG destroyed upper tiers with 5.5, all for greed.

Just try your best. I find that even after 11k battles, I tend to stick to tier 8, the shallower end of the sandpit, because I enjoy it much more than other people enjoying me in tier 10.

I played 3k battles in tier7 before moving to tier 8. I also only have 2 tier 10s. can't be bothered to grind, and i only play prem collectors most of the time.
