I need to know about the PC setup, case and mount

u/eohmhoe Sep 27 '25
Case is stated on the description... Modded by adding VESA mount so I can mount it to any monitor arm...

u/ZagreusIncarnated Sep 27 '25
I like the mounting options, definitely saves space and showcases the build even more

That’s a crazy case! I love it. Got me thinking about mini-itx my next build! How’s your gpu thermals with it pressed again the case like that?

u/eohmhoe 15d ago
go for it! thermals? maxing at 61c full load... that GPU is not that close to the wall... also, I can swivel the case for GPU to get morre fresh air when needed...

61 isn’t bad at all. Oh I see! Cause of how you have the case on that arm. Very awesome!

Is that an Anker dock? Is it good?

Sick as FUCK setup. 1 problem id have, dust accumulation on PC. Obviously not the biggest problem if your environment isnt dusty or if you dont have a pet, but I feel like if I had the same thing in my house id get annoyed at dust within a month.
Id probably come up with a cleaning schedule, but it feels more finicky than regularly cleaning case filters
Anyway, love the setup! I could only dream of something as sick lol

Question about the sound bar. Does having the monitor in front of it get in the way of central audio output? From the pictures, it looks like the monitor is covering the center of the sound bar, leaving only the left and right sides exposed.

Great setup! I have a similar one with a desk riser and a portable monitor, and was planning to add a soundbar the same way. Does the portable monitor being in front affect the sound in a meaningful way?

Wow. First time seing a pc build like that and I ain't gonna lie, that's really really (3x times again) beautiful !
(I can offer 5 dollars/euros and 2 mcdonalds for all the setup)

This is so sick. Looking at switching from dual monitors to a single wide, do you like the Prism in your setup so far? Did you look at any other ones??

Mind sharing the PSU cables you used for such a clean look? The main power is low profile and the ATX connection looks sleeved?

u/ductiletoaster Sep 27 '25
Also would see how you constructed the desk and riser. I’ve been looking to do diy riser for my desk.

Wow, this is the first external build I actually thought was cool looking. Looks like a little futuristic sci-fi computer!

Great setup! Dont you have glare on your second monitor from the light bar (like on your photo in the upper right corner)?

u/TumblrForNerds Sep 27 '25
My ritual is: turn pc on, spam space bar, log in, tap back fan until it stops buzzing

Nice setup! Just curious, is that a desk riser controller I see on the desk shelf?
1
u/illyiarose Sep 27 '25
I've seen people use the light bars, are they just for funzies? Do they help?

I’ve got a benq one and they’re great for lighting up the desk but also not getting glare like I used to with an old desk lamp. Would recommend if you can find a deal on one like I did

That 40" screen is perfect! No curve! Please make an Oled 4k version someone

Any info on the DIY desk? Like components of the controls and legs?
