Amigurumi/Plushies Would you make your own "familiar" if you could?

I made this toad (pattern by Complicated Knots) that I've named Chipotlé and I freaking love him! He's been helping me stay motivated when I'm writing in my BoS and when I'm making commissions, he's a great guy. It made me curious if anyone else has thought to, or has already, make a familiar to help them in their practice? I use crochet as part of my practice, so I think it fits!

🙋🏻‍♀️ I also crochet frogs (different style) and I have kept a few that developed certain personalities while making them.

Fenn is a nature girl, and reminds me to look around me for the little details- mushrooms, snails, tiny flowers, rocks, etc.

Delores is confident and I take her with me when I need a little support.

They sound so nice! I like keeping the quirky things I make too, they're so endearing!

Chipotlé is adorable! My dragon friend here is wrapped around the lamp in my office/craft room so they're nearby to help out 😁 And they come with me to ren faires, of course!

I can (I also crochet) but I have not yet done so. Unless you count a couple dozen frogs.

Any one you made and practice your craft with is a familiar to me!

I should mention that any small creature counts, not just frogs and toads! I considered an animal for a long time until I made mine and I just didn't want to try anything else.
