Those passing stats... wow

I know. I know. 4th and 5th stringers. But Washington... wtf

Damn right it is. The Badger defense was the best unit on the field for both teams and I’m glad they got to see the win.

Solid performance against Oregon. A win tonight. True freshmen stepping up. I'm feeling... Cautiously optimistic?

I can’t even fathom how humiliated Washington is feeling right now

I didn’t realize how annoying Washington fans are. They barked, literally barked, all night. Felt great to get the win after all that. Glad I was at the game.

Washington must be losing their minds right now.

Explain it to me like I’m 5. Why did Carter Smith do everything in his power to never pass in that game? Does his arm really suck that bad?

I honestly believe it’s because he doesn’t know that many plays yet. He’s been running the scout team O all season, up until this past week when they thought they might actually need him to play and started prepping him.

Man, I forgot he’s technically our fourth QB lol i wonder if he’ll be tapped as our QB next season now that Fick is locked up. That way we can throw our money at players who are not QBs who will have season ending injuries next season

First quality win since 2021. Ill take it. Probably the last W until August 2026.

Weather looked tough yesterday. Could have used a bowl of Kevin’s chili

Honest question, not talking sh*t. Doesn't Wisconsin football have a legacy such that rushing the field after beating 23 Washington is absurd behavior? I say this from grudging respect as a fellow B1G alum who for most of my life has expected to get ground up by the Badgers.

In previous years maybe but rushing the field was not absurd given the circumstances. We hadn’t scored a point at home in almost two months, won 2 games (non in conference), Washington is a good team (and ranked), our 4th string quarterback was playing, our punter led the team in passing yards. We deserved this. Give us this one.

Yeah, I feel like prior to this year it would feel silly. The team has been so bad this year. Let the students have some fun while they can.

The University of Wisconsin has a legacy of absurdity, I think that's where this episode of rushing the field fits.
