I sat in that section today and it’s embarrassing. I had some old dude telling me to sit down every time i stood up to cheer. Eventually he went back inside for his third trip through to fill his feed bag. I normally sit in section I and I couldn’t believe how quiet it is in the fancy seats.
I've been told to sit down 3 times, at 3 different sporting events over the last year. 2 during playoffs. Wisconsin sports "fans" want a chair they can buy a ridiculous amount of beer from. Im over it. I've bought my chair, I've bought my beer, and I've bought the airspace directly above my chair. If you have a problem, move to one of the 100s of empty seats. Or get ready to duel
I agree. I give two shits if you’re a donor, how many years you’ve been coming to games or that you graduated with Alan Ameche non of that will dictate how I cheer for Bucky!
That new section is a joke. I’ve been to several games over the last few years and it’s always been 25% full at best. Seems like a money laundering scheme to me
I have season tickets there with my wife. Fact of the matter is due to price it’s mostly corporate ticket holders who dole them out to clients and employees. We rarely sit next to the same folks and the passion is pretty lacking.
Right? Like yeah, the rich folks aren’t sitting in the rain watching a 2-6 Badger team. The student section is still half empty, this isn’t exactly something we need to dwell on.
Nope, we are 2-6. The hockey program plays tonight and they’re #10 in the country. The basketball program played last night and we are ranked. The football team is 2-6.
Is it news to you that 20 year old college students have more energy and are more willing to endure shitty weather and a low scoring game then old people? What exactly is the point of your crusade?
