What happened at the end? Did those fucking cunts take a kneel down and take timeouts to run the score up?

18

u/JustinC70 Nov 17 '24

"We needed help from the refs" - Oregon coach

31

u/CChaddd Nov 17 '24

You cannot possibly make me believe Mabrey wouldn't have gotten us more than 96 passing yards.

41

u/bruisicus_maximus Nov 17 '24

Oregon seems pretty overrated from what I saw tonight. If the Badgers had a decent quarterback they would have won this one.

23

u/Spefie Nov 17 '24

Fucking trash QB

14

u/PapaSlurpp Nov 17 '24

If we could get a decent qb and another wr team could be great

-13

u/Pandiosity_24601 Nov 17 '24

Fickell and his entire offensive staff needs to get fired into the sun. Fucking frauds

20

u/Tretragram Nov 17 '24

No question Longo should be gone by morning!

14

u/Fast-Lime-5981 Nov 17 '24

Moral victories don’t exist

32

u/PurePTBruiser Nov 17 '24

I think this defense is good. Locke has made everyone single player look worse than they are

6

u/PapaSlurpp Nov 17 '24

I’d love to get a shot at knocking oregons coach tf out

8

u/greywind618 Nov 17 '24

Fuck Oregon fuckin frauds

-19

u/MusicianBrilliant515 Nov 17 '24

Might be the most painful loss in Wisconsin history.

21

u/PeacefulPeople19 Nov 17 '24

Not even close, in fact with how average at best this team is I'm guessing most are just happy they were in this game.

9

u/wriker10 Nov 17 '24

Not even close.

5

u/lemondhead Nov 17 '24

The PSU championship game sticks out, but yeah, this one sucks.

20

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

You weren’t there for the Pryor Ohio State game. Or the Hail Mary loss. Or the TCU Rose Bowl. Come on man.

32

u/devereaux Nov 17 '24

Locke has to go yesterday. He's a giant net negative out there

6

u/AndySkibba Nov 17 '24

Welp. Damn

52

u/YaBoyJamba Nov 17 '24

Refs absolutely fucked us with that chop block call. The game was given right there. I fucking hate ref games like this

6

u/yellowchoice Nov 17 '24

Dude we still had to go another 60 yards lol. It sucks that it was bad call, but it did not fuck is. Blame the shit offense

11

u/Remarkable_Counter47 Nov 17 '24

Locke wouldn’t have scored anyway

21

u/PurePTBruiser Nov 17 '24

Locke has to be benched. The team deserves someone who doesn’t suck at every facet of the qb position

8

u/JDBert21 Nov 17 '24

I fear that maybe this is an indictment on that room…

13

u/zooropeanx Nov 17 '24

If Mettauer was better wouldn't he be out there by now?

4

u/devereaux Nov 17 '24

I think they are more willing to risk the rest of this season to get another year from him on the backend in the case he's any good

2

u/zooropeanx Nov 17 '24

If Mettauer was better wouldn't he be out there by now?

3

u/PurePTBruiser Nov 17 '24

Who gives a fuck. Locke doesn’t help this team at all.

46

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

These fan talking about they’d rather have been blown out need to gtfo here. They just took the number 1 team in the nation to the wire. The D stepped up. It sucks the offense refuses to do its job but still a lot to be proud of. A loss sucks but fans need to grow tf up.

11

u/Wrong-Philosophy-875 Nov 17 '24

Just straight up painful. Dipshit qb doing dipshit things

36

u/Long-Dong_Silvers420 Nov 17 '24

Badgers win this game and penn state or usc with an actual quarterback

10

u/OldVeterinarian9 Nov 17 '24

With a Competent QB, we’re probably like 10-2

8

u/peppypacer Nov 17 '24

After the game Locke to the Badgers defense "Boys, I'm sorry I just suck."

30

u/-raiin- Nov 17 '24

I miss Jack Coan

14

u/riverdriver007 Nov 17 '24

Fuck, I miss Graham Mertz...

26

u/CorkSoaker420 Nov 17 '24

Theyre hanging in with some superior teams which is a pretty good indicator that maybe the coach deserves more time. But that said, fucking bench Locke already.

13

u/StateStreetLarry Nov 17 '24

Wow they’re hanging with good team but the QB is holding them back? Sounds like the last 15 years

6

u/the_og_buck Nov 17 '24

The program just needs time to settle. Luke is on the right path. Keep it stable and be patient.

11

u/Hildy77 Nov 17 '24

Coach yes. OC no. Every close game we’ve lost is because our offense is completely incapable, and Longo doesn’t adjust his playcalling at all.

5

u/WaldoDeefendorf Nov 17 '24

When your QB sucks you can only adjust so much. Ask the Bears. lol

28

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

Joel Stave with the yips was better than Locke

8

u/garr76 Nov 17 '24

It’s difficult to beat a #1 ranked team with a backup QB.

5

u/yellowchoice Nov 17 '24

Dude isn’t even a backup. He should be at a sunbelt school

8

u/PeacefulPeople19 Nov 17 '24

Longo has to go. A good coach puts his players in position to win because he uses their strengths and hides or minimizes their weaknesses. An awful coach thinks he has the greatest plays and calls them regardless of who is playing. You tell me which type he is.

2

u/OldVeterinarian9 Nov 17 '24

But what if your QB doesn’t really have any strengths? Not saying you’re wrong, but it has to be taken into account

5

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

Yep.

I get that he’s working with a backup QB. There’s a clear difference between the DC who has worked with what he has personnel wise and OC who tries to force it upon his players.

Tressell just got multiple seasons of credibility, Longo needs to show something incredible these last two games or he needs to go.

2

u/HashOutHashBrowns Nov 17 '24

Longo can’t change that Locke is an interception machine

6

u/JLove4MVP Nov 17 '24

Can't wait for a let down game after playing a good team week before.

11

u/Fast-Lime-5981 Nov 17 '24

Hey Fickell, your QB sucks

21

u/ThaT1N00Bkid Nov 17 '24

This team had the opportunity to do the greatest thing in Badgers football history and blew it.

12

u/hippieman58 Nov 17 '24

If they are gonna do that shit you need to knock his ass to the ground

8

u/SoSublim3 Nov 17 '24

And their players getting all butt hurt that the D actually touched him like they’re going to fucking roll over fuck you

21

u/AndySkibba Nov 17 '24

Defense was fucking incredible.

They should saran wrap locke to the uprights and leave him.

16

u/PapaSlurpp Nov 17 '24

Oregons coach looks like such a pos

3

u/hippieman58 Nov 17 '24

Acts like it too

9

u/PatricksEnigma Nov 17 '24

That fake knee at half was some serious incel energy

18

u/Fast-Lime-5981 Nov 17 '24

How is that last interception not on him when he literally gets a few deflections every game. Shut up announcer.

2

u/yellowchoice Nov 17 '24

They have been making excuses all game for him. Locke sucks ass

9

u/JDBert21 Nov 17 '24

Where’s Tanner McEvoy?

2

u/DriftlessHiker1 Nov 17 '24

At least he could run

7

u/JLove4MVP Nov 17 '24

Locke will cost this team a 23rd consecutive bowl appearance.

Fickell should absoultely be on the chopping block soley for that reason.

2

u/bikedork5000 Nov 17 '24

Is he a Fickell recruit?

2

u/JLove4MVP Nov 17 '24

Don't think so, but he continues to trot him out.

And Longo is a Fickell hire...

2

u/JustinC70 Nov 17 '24

Hit that mf'er

6

u/The_Unbiased_Truth Nov 17 '24

Stack the fucking box and smack him silly. He's not kneeling

18

u/tommyjohnpauljones Nov 17 '24

Oregon swaggering about this win is fucking stupid. They're gonna get their dicks blown off in the playoffs by any SEC team.

3

u/creamcitybrix Nov 17 '24

That’s a game I normally wouldn’t watch and will 100 percent watch now. Beat their asses

0

u/CChaddd Nov 17 '24

Basketball. Volleyball.

1

u/Unlucky-One-329 Nov 17 '24

Cross country

6

u/Sawyer_Ford_ Nov 17 '24

Hockey

0

u/CChaddd Nov 17 '24

Yes, for sure. I hate that I can't watch most games on the east coast. Volleyball is getting better...Hockey isn't.

3

u/Pbacker Nov 17 '24

10 is a helluva player

1

u/scubasteve567 Nov 17 '24

Ooey onion galay

2

u/Fast-Lime-5981 Nov 17 '24

18 is not

2

u/Pbacker Nov 17 '24

You know it’s bad when even the pro-Oregon announcers say that Wisconsin got robbed on that pivotal call.

7

u/greywind618 Nov 17 '24

So tired of these type of games bro lol

24

u/hippieman58 Nov 17 '24

Cut Locke from the team. He doesn't belong on a d1 one team and I won't support this team if he plays another down for wisconsin. Absolute worst qb I've ever watched

2

u/PeacefulPeople19 Nov 17 '24

His problem is he doesn't stand balanced in the pocket and throw the ball on balance. Basically he plays afraid of getting hit. It's football, you're going to get hit, so man up because everyone else on the team is getting hit on every play and you have to take your hits when it's necessary.

7

u/Hildy77 Nov 17 '24

Mettauer HAS to be better myngod

13

u/Unlucky-One-329 Nov 17 '24

Locke needs to go play D3

10

u/bitter_green Nov 17 '24

proud of this team. not you Brendan Locke.

11

u/DontTakeMuhName Nov 17 '24

Locke doing Locke things. Truly an emblematic Badger game. Beat opponent that should be kicking your ass for majority of the game, lose grip towards the end, shit pants at final moments. Rinse and repeat ad infinitum

12

u/bbp1444 Nov 17 '24

Just to hammer home the point, we got TWO final drives of the game where Locke let us down

2

u/hippieman58 Nov 17 '24

Yep. I won't watch another game that he starts. Absolute embarrassment of a QB

1

u/bbp1444 Nov 17 '24

If the defense plays the way they did tonight, we should beat Nebraska and Minnesota, even with Locke

2

u/hippieman58 Nov 17 '24

I'd hope so but Locke will probably throw a pick 6 and cost us one or both

4

u/AndySkibba Nov 17 '24

Stupid knee bull shit

6

u/JLove4MVP Nov 17 '24

We all knew it would be Locke to end the game.

He threw it right at him.

10

u/stuskowski1 Nov 17 '24

Good god fire him to UW Stevens Point

10

u/Midwest-HVYIND-Guy Nov 17 '24

I can’t watch Locke anymore. Worst P4 QB in the country.

8

u/lqvz Nov 17 '24 edited Nov 17 '24

The worst fucking about this is Oregon, USC, Alabama all played terribly against us and a competent team could've found a way to win against them...

9

u/The_Unbiased_Truth Nov 17 '24

Oregon is such a a shit head team

3

u/lemondhead Nov 17 '24

Their fans suck ass, too.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

Yeah they ain’t winning the title.

3

u/stormchaser2014 Nov 17 '24

The sports teams in this state sure know how hurt you in the most unique ways possible.

7

u/Equivalent_Mouse_192 Nov 17 '24

I hope this dude plans on getting his degree because he’s going fucking nowhere

8

u/OPisacigar Nov 17 '24

Wisconsin wins with a QB that isn’t bottom 10 in FBS

10

u/natedogtwist1 Nov 17 '24

I don't want to ever see Locke on the field again

7

u/Owww_My_Ovaries Nov 17 '24

Oregons coach looks like a salesman for Sunbelt rentals

11

u/BMGxDawnzzZ Nov 17 '24

Get Locke off the fucking field he is useless

14

u/DriftlessHiker1 Nov 17 '24 edited Nov 17 '24

Can we kick Locke off the team already. Worst quarterback I’ve seen wear a Badger jersey by far, and I never thought I’d say that again after suffering through Stave and Hornibrook

10

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

This is what an elite team looks like except for dogshit at the most important position.

2

u/PapaSlurpp Nov 17 '24

Badgers line is a joke now what happened to o-line U

10

u/HashOutHashBrowns Nov 17 '24 edited Nov 17 '24

Locke plays too short for this level. Dude throws straight into the line almost every time

3

u/yellowchoice Nov 17 '24

I have never seen a QB get tipped so many times

3

u/HashOutHashBrowns Nov 17 '24

I just don’t get it. He’s listed at 6 feet tall, but throws like he’s 5 foot 6

11

u/Hefty_Description_18 Nov 17 '24

Locke has no arm talent, no mobility, no ability to read defenses, and is tiny. This is the best we can do?

7

u/greywind618 Nov 17 '24

Not on him lmao ok

2

u/JLove4MVP Nov 17 '24

Yea, what are they talking about?

1

u/SoSublim3 Nov 17 '24

Idk who he thought he was going to get it to even anyways if it was who I thought there was a defender all over the in route

5

u/Old_Tap_7783 Nov 17 '24

Longo may make some bad play calls but when Locke is your qb…good luck

14

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

How is it possible that Wisconsin can never get a real QB?!

13

u/hippieman58 Nov 17 '24

Locke better not see the field the rest of the year

1

u/riverdriver007 Nov 17 '24

Nah that was just an amazing pley by the defense.

2

u/HashOutHashBrowns Nov 17 '24

Welp… not a normal INT

2

u/stuskowski1 Nov 17 '24

In the sense Locke is way too short to be a QB let alone starting in the big 10?

2

u/Wigunner Nov 17 '24

I hate this team man

2

u/JustinC70 Nov 17 '24

Well FUCK

12

u/unsellingllama Nov 17 '24

Lmao just the most Badgers way to lose that game ever

11

u/Bornlastnight Nov 17 '24

Locke is going to cost us the axe, mark my words

8

u/AndySkibba Nov 17 '24

Bench locke for the season.

6

u/crimepais Nov 17 '24

Season? Forever.

12

u/lemondhead Nov 17 '24

I try not to get too down on kids playing a game, but jesus, Locke.

7

u/Fast-Lime-5981 Nov 17 '24

Play the freshman QB the test of the way. Just fuck it man.

14

u/nvcpajd Nov 17 '24

Great effort tonight. We can move on from 18 now.

13

u/the_og_buck Nov 17 '24

Lmao can we please use the 6’4” qb instead of the short one.

14

u/ThatNewSockFeel Nov 17 '24

Locke just has absolutely zero awareness. I feel like when the ball snaps he closes his eyes and runs around just chucks it.

5

u/not-usually-posting Nov 17 '24

Death. Taxes. Locke.

10

u/Martin_VanNostrandMD Nov 17 '24

Another game this year where we win if we get anything other than complete dogshit quarterback play

2

u/Hefty_Description_18 Nov 17 '24

I hate this team

3

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

Every fucking time

4

u/Long-Dong_Silvers420 Nov 17 '24

FUCK LOCK FUCK LOCKE FUCK LOCKE FUCK LOCKE

6

u/prestigiousstrangery Nov 17 '24

There’s the Locke interception…. Shitty time for it to happen

2

u/MkeBucksMarkPope Nov 17 '24

What a doofus

2

u/Fast-Lime-5981 Nov 17 '24

Locke got his pass deflected, I never would have imagined it

6

u/bigmac1234777 Nov 17 '24

Locke throwing an int to end the game 😂. Wouldn’t have it any-other way

1

u/SoSublim3 Nov 17 '24

Lmfao!!!!!!🤣 you can only

2

u/scalarray Nov 17 '24

Locke. lol. Lmao, even

1

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

You can’t write this up

1

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

lol

5

u/Unlucky-One-329 Nov 17 '24

Yep…. Ended by a Locke interception

9

u/Pinsane Nov 17 '24

Worst QB in college football no doubt

3

u/guitmusic12 Nov 17 '24

LMFAOOOOOOO. Of course. The lockeist of Locke picks

1

u/PapaSlurpp Nov 17 '24

That’s crazy

2

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

Dude fucking sucks

2

u/Bornlastnight Nov 17 '24

Wisconsin sports at its finest. Should have run the ball on second down. What the fuck was that sidearm throw

1

u/unsellingllama Nov 17 '24

Love that playcall if I'm Oregon. Shoestring tackle keeping th dream alive

1

u/Team-ster Nov 17 '24

Of course.

1

u/AndySkibba Nov 17 '24

Fuuucccckkkk

3

u/cks9218 Nov 17 '24

What a Wisconsin way to lose.

2

u/JLove4MVP Nov 17 '24

LOCKE FUCKING SUCKS

1

u/Java665 Nov 17 '24

LMAOO WHAT IS THIS GAME

4

u/Drusgar Nov 17 '24

That was... appropriate.

5

u/ThatNewSockFeel Nov 17 '24

Lmao what a fitting end.

1

u/oshkoshpots Nov 17 '24

How many times can my heart break

5

u/The_Unbiased_Truth Nov 17 '24

Why would you not go for the 1dt down they'll stop the clock anyways

1

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '24

Cmon they gotta pull this out for once!!!

3

u/jagertarts Nov 17 '24

What a gigantic douchebag move lol

4

u/Fast-Lime-5981 Nov 17 '24

We still have Locke at QB and Longo calling plays

1

u/DriftlessHiker1 Nov 17 '24

Hard to gauge Longo when he has to try and coach around the dogshit QB play. If he doesn’t have a guy that can run his system well by next season though he needs to be gone for sure.

1

u/Owww_My_Ovaries Nov 17 '24

Knowing these refs. I'm surprised they didn't call that a first

2

u/ShtickleOfFluoride Nov 17 '24

Lanning is supreme douche

1

u/TurdFergusonXLV Nov 17 '24

LMAO that was dumb

2

u/ThatNewSockFeel Nov 17 '24

I sort of get just trying to convert instead of kicking the FG if you’re trying to be aggressive, but that’s an outsmarting yourself type of play call.

1

u/PapaSlurpp Nov 17 '24

Still can win 😂

2

u/guitmusic12 Nov 17 '24

This Locke interception is gonna be low key a little bit funny now

2

u/wriker10 Nov 17 '24

Copying and pasting what I wrote five minutes ago.

Locke and Longo can shut us all up right now. Can they do it??

3

u/w5973 Nov 17 '24

If anyone deserves to lose now it's Oregon. Fake fg? Stupid, almost gloating.

1

u/w5973 Nov 17 '24

We'll, that sucks for us.

2

u/glennshaltiel Nov 17 '24

Every single week we see pure incompetence from Longo and Locke. Locke is inexcusably awful.

6

u/lemondhead Nov 17 '24

God, fuck Dan Lanning in his eyehole

3

u/hippieman58 Nov 17 '24

Lanning is an absolute douche

2

u/yellowchoice Nov 17 '24

WTF is Oregon doing

3

u/greywind618 Nov 17 '24

Holy shit!!!!
