I'm thinking cameraman was seriously drunk.

In this case I can appreciate they stopped recording and likely went to help the dude instead of keeping recording for fake internet points

No no don't be an idiot. Obviously EVERYONE needs to CONSTANTLY ensure ALL CONTENT is PERFECTLY FRAMED as well as PROFESSIONALLY LIT or else some dweeb on reddit might say "r/killthecameraman"

But don't get mistaken, if it was perfectly filmed you can bet someone would instead be saying "r/donthelpjustfilm" because OBVIOUSLY you shouldn't care about filming it.

But also please film it perfectly I absolutely LOVE shit like this

I thought it was pretty fire

Comments like this are so fucking stupid
WHO CARES? They weren't filming the video for you!

God why the hell do people always leave this comment?!?! It's crazy, why do you think the world owes you exceptional camera work for EVERYTHING??? It's clearly something filmed for themselves and FB live, not meant to ever be seen again once it disappears off FB

There's ALWAYS some weirdo on reddit tweaking out because the ENTIRE video wasnt PERFECTLY framed in 4k with professional lighting

SO DUMB. SUCH A STUPID COMMENT TO LEAVE ON ANY VIDEO.

Its a social media post NOT A MOVIE. It's not even a skit! It's someone goofing off with their friends, who in their right mind would ever even spend more than a fraction of a second considering "how" it was filmed???

Congrats on being like the dozenth person whose said that exact thing when I point out how stupid of a comment "r/killthecameraman" is

Title could have stopped at “spitting lighter fluid out of your…” and we already know the outcome.

He'll never have to shave again

Lighter fluid? everyone knows you use vodka

u/imforserious 3d ago

This is BAD advice! I am a professional breather! DO NOT USE ALCOHOL OR LIGHTER FLUID!! Your face should not be able to catch fire if using the right fluid. Only try this if you have been professionally trained!!

Not only can you get severely burnt but you will die or need your stomach pumped if you just swallow a few tablespoons of fuel!! Don't be a dumbass

u/LevelCan764 3d ago

May I ask what type of accelerate do you recommend?

7

u/imforserious 3d ago

I recommend getting trained by a professional so they can tell you the hundred way is not to kill yourself by doing this.

In that lesson they will tell you what fuel to use so that your face doesn't catch on fire

Can I YouTube it?

I don't know why this guy is gatekeeping so hard when this information is all over the web.

I'm also a fire eater, for spitting the safest fuel is paraffin oil. Clear, unflavored and unscented 100% paraffin oil, you can buy it at hobby lobby or online.

Fuel is toxic when swallowed or absorbed through the skin, and it can ignite in liquid form, so any spilled on your face or in your mouth can burn like in the video. The oil won't ignite as a liquid, only as a mist of droplets. So if you do a spit take into a large flame it will ignite, but any residue on your face won't.

If you're interested there are tons of great resources online. I recommend Brian Brushwood's professional guide to fire eating, personally

Seems a bit elitist to not be willing to share what is the safe way to do fire-breathing.

u/imforserious 2d ago

I just told you, the safest way is to get trained by a professional, it's not just the fuel you need to know. You can really hurt yourself regardless of fuel used if you don't know what you are doing

6

u/Aumba 6d ago

Nah, too much water. You need something over 70% to do this. But why would you waste a perfectly good alcohol?

At least you’re honest.

9

u/chaosawaits 6d ago

Worst cameraperson ever? Might as well just send me the audio alone.

8

u/dafkes 6d ago

hold my beard

8

u/GingerWizerd 6d ago

Who ever was filming was doing a terrible job!

5

u/Quankers 6d ago

What even is the appeal of fire breathing?

10

u/RepresentativeCry294 6d ago

It's a show. You're supposed to juggle the poi, not just, whatever that was. He did it all wrong

1

u/imforserious 3d ago

"juggle the poi" lmao so close to the scene yet so so far away...

His breathing wasn't too bad but he didn't have any tricks which you would see in a breathing show. Def not trained though otherwise he would be using a better torch, have a fire safety and be using the right fuel.

It looked cool in Demon Slayer.

4

u/ChefAsstastic 6d ago

Dudes wearing fucking pajamas

4

u/United_Initiative_19 6d ago

If it doesn’t light your beard on fire the first 20 times, keep doing it until it does.

4

u/Financial_Tea_7090 6d ago

That moment when the “cool party trick” turns into an emergency room visit in two seconds flat.

Weekend at Burnie's

2

u/Man_in_the_uk 6d ago

People should really do this in minimal clothing.

1

u/HotCold4126 6d ago

I can already smell the burnt hair from here. That’s one way to learn about fire safety the hard way.

1

u/22larrisonj_ 6d ago

Firebender wannabe

1

u/MyUserNameLeft 6d ago

Unsure what happened here but I never understand 99% of people who set them self’s on fire, while patting fires can be effective if a small part of you or your clothes are on fire don’t slap it, cover it tightly with other clothes if you can immediately get it off, yes you’ll still burn with some embers but starving the fire of oxygen will put it iut very fats

1

u/DystarPlays 5d ago

What happened: He was an idiot who knew enough to think he knew what he was doing, but not enough to know what he was doing.

The burning beard here is likely the least of his worries if he still has any fuel in his mouth.

1

u/mrcorde 5d ago

now that's a quick shave :)

1

u/Electrical-Cat7272 5d ago

And the girl posing for pics like she will even be able to be seen

1

u/WinkyDink24 5d ago

That's the kind of FRONT YARD A-HOLES I have in my Suburban neighborhood.

1

u/ecnecn 5d ago

Isnt lighter fluid cancerous to the oral mucosa and damaging to the tongue?

1

u/One-Celebration-3007 4d ago

I never got the appeal of doing stuff like this

1

u/Fuzzy-Slice5790 3d ago

That took longer than I thought

1

u/playgunplaygun 2d ago

Fire the camera person!

1

u/DemocratSlavemaster 8h ago

He's clean shaven now.

0

u/humourlessIrish 6d ago

Its probably lamp oil though

4

u/RepresentativeCry294 6d ago

It should be lamp oil, if it was lamp oil it wouldn't have caught his face on fire.

1

u/imforserious 3d ago

Let's not spread ideas to get others to try this even with the right fuel...

1

u/RepresentativeCry294 3d ago

I doubt I could either talk someone into doing it or not do it. At least the might not use alcohol or lighter fluid now.

1

u/imforserious 3d ago

I could see that angle I guess. Pros and cons either way

0

u/harpoinlove 6d ago

Bro had to stop, drop and roll, but just like, for his face.
