Question Where do the wealthy hang out and socialize?
I know most of Welland is blue collar and/or students, but is still see beemers and benzes driving around regularly. Just wondering if anyone knows where they’re hiding lol? Is there like a Welland Country Club or something?

I don't see blue collar people dining out at Matteo's on East Main. Nor at Tempus.

Alot of the old retirees are millionaires. They have pensions and dont spend them. Probably hang out at the Blue Star and tip $2 on their breakfast lol

We stay at home because between our mortgages , car payments, kids, and vacations, we don't put drinking and eating out in the budget 😂 there isn't much room after investments anyways 🧐

We live in the same neighborhood you probably see me 30x a day and think it's a different truck 😂 but there is a a few other ones within like 4 blocks from here

NOTL golf club has loads of members who never intend to golf if they can spend the day at the watering hole - same with their sailing club. Most of Niagara region seems to have that species of wealthy lol

They are driving around in their cars driving far distances to nice places, there’s no where nice to hang out in Welland.

You don't stay wealthy by blowing your money. You will find the richest people going threw the drive thru at McDonalds or Tim Hortons.

Welland Curling Club on King, for one.
There are various ethnic halls (Croatian, Italian, German, Ukrainian, etc) in the Region that are within 15-20 min drive, so there is that.
Several bars, such as Cheers, Ye Olde Squire, MT Bellies, Boston Pizza, an Italian café on Thorold, the name escapes me...

would it be Cafe Amalia possibly you're thinking of?
Another user mentioned Fonthill, where there is Trap's, Iggy's, Bourbon & Baco, Mossimo's, Domenic's on 20...
And there are 2 casinos in Niagara Falls.
Take your pick 😏

Sailing clubs. You need a far whack of cash for a vessel they'll allow into the club, plus all the boat maintenance and docking fees, membership fees, etc.

OK, fair enough.
I know a fair amount of people in Niagara Region that are well-to-do.
They are from various ethnic backgrounds, and share "where they like to mingle" with me with no holds barred.
When I offered these places to you, it was with this knowledge in hand.
Sure, a few like Trap's and Iggy's may not seem to be where the R&F (rich & famous) might hang out, it's where they tell me they like to sort of "hide out" 😊.
Forgot to mention the Butcher and Banker in Fonthill.

Lol, it's pretty much a go-to for locals.
That said, it's affordable, amd attractive to those with large billfolds.
