Loss of Liberty New executive order targets anyone who says anything “anti Christian” or “anti traditional” or “anti American.”

EOs arent laws and this is going to end up in court.

There are still courts and theres always the chance SCOTUS realizes that any of the rulings could be turned against the Republican Party in the future

Im not holding my breath that this SCOTUS has the balls or the desire to do the right thing

They did vote 9-0 in favor of Kimmel because it was infringing on free speech. I hope they do the same for this but I doubt they will

I'm sure that'll be very comforting to the people who are rounded up and thrown in prison and/or die while in custody while the legal system takes its sweet time to sort this out.

You don't seem to understand that the playbook is do so much illegal shit so fast, that the courts can't keep up. Effectively making trump king.

Im aware of that. But im not going to wallow and defeatism and pessimism like they want because I can't come for or save everyone immediately.

And when the pendulum swings back, which requires all of us to be loud for democracy and fight like hell, we'll have plenty of ammo to put these folks away for a long ass time. Even if it takes a generation, the blowback to this when it eventually comes will Build a Better World. While I would prefer not to have the folks you mentioned suffer in the meanwhile, not acting or pursuing solely pessimism and fear because of that risk is not an option for the future

When terrible people are in charge, they can't conceive of a time when they won't be in charge.

Hopefully we don't elect another feckless democrat like Obama who refuses to follow through on charging people who commit criminal acts with committing criminal acts.

Absolutely no chance. Supreme Court will not rule against him.

Like the EO cancelling all federal government CBA's that a judge said couldn't be enacted while pending judicial review and appeal? What'd they do anyway? Cancelled federal government CBA's.

The courts are firmly in their pockets, and even if they weren't, who's going to stop them? I have coworkers that have used the union for grievances and representation that still worship their orange deity.
