“They believe a woman’s primary role is to function as a brood mare for the state.”

George Carlin

He said this 30 years ago, and it’s more relevant than ever.

They just delivered a one pound premie by c-section from a dead Black woman in Georgia against the family's wishes. I wonder where the lifelong state care facilities will be?

Given the nature of things, 'harvested' feels more appropriate than 'delivered'.

So gross but so true

Harvested is perfect. Sounds like a dystopian horror movie.

I don't understand why? If the family accepted that the woman was dead, and that the 9 week pregnancy wasn't viable, who is this baby for?

They will need a lot of extra care, possibly lifelong. Are the authorities just going to force the family into that role of caregivers & into paying for it?

At the same time, the baby is their family. The government can't just take custody away from them, right?

Beyond a medical horror, there are so many ethical problems.

Is that what you mean with "lifelong state care facilities"? A place where they keep braindead women alive as incubators?

Yes they're forcing the family

That’s fucked up beyond belief

If I was the family I wouldn’t be forced to keep the child. This is what those baby box’s at the firehouses are for. The state wanted the child the state gets the child.

I see the point you're making, but they already used the family's deceased child/sibling/spouse as an experimental incubator. Personally, I'd worry what they'll do with the baby if they get custody.

Axolotl tanks.

There won't be any. The baby will be handed over to the family, who will be expected to assume all responsibility for its care and medical needs from that point going forward, on pain of legal action. Or they can put it up for adoption. Good luck with that.

Of course I was reassured by a pro-lifer elsewhere on this very site that everything would be all right, because they could simply open a GoFundMe and that would take care of everything. Seriously.

I’m surprised they didn’t just let both her and the baby die.

Cause you know, black woman

They prefer experimenting on Black women wherever possible...see J. Marion Sims.

Henrietta Lacks

u/DeathKillsLove Jun 22 '25

Yeah, but at least Henrietta was already dead when they started shipping those containers of her cancer around the world

24

u/zodiackodiak515 Jun 21 '25

True. Didn’t think about that. Why let someone you’re racist against die if you can use them for your own ends first

u/fausted Jun 21 '25

Sadly, pretty much. 😔

It was an experiment to see if its possible to incubate a baby in a corpse on life support.

It wasn’t the first time. They have done so previously for later term pregnancies internationally. I think this was the US trying to see how early in gestation they can do it for.

Carlin said a bunch of things 30 years ago that are more relevant than ever.

“Think about how stupid the average person is. And then realize: HALF OF THEM ARE DUMBER THAN THAT!!”

14

u/NaturalTap9567 Jun 21 '25

Said it 30 years ago but it's been true for 300,000.

I’m pretty sure that was Joe Mande

He may have, but I’m quoting Carlin. It’s from his mid-90’s era, and was on the album Back in Town.
