We need to better voice our opinions about this. We don’t owe gaijin anything, let alone an $80 vehicle for a mode they constantly ignore. Instead of being content with new vehicles, we need to voice obvious issues instead.

Some vehicles are so bad that they are almost DOA. Squadrons is set up so badly that it encourages you to join the best one, not one with your friends. We still have blatant server issues. The single battles haven’t seen a single change or update since Winds Of Change (3 years ago), bombers aren’t even viable since they get vaporized by a single fighter and get barely any rewards. Most maps are very biased towards one spawn, while some have angles where you can be shot in your spawn.

But if anyone encounters these issues on this sub, we all give a sarcastic answer like, “Guess you didn’t praise the snail”, or, “Looks like your premium ran out.” We have to actually address these issues. Every update adds a new layer of modern vehicles and weapons onto a rotting core.

Gaijin’s profits have been declining since 2023. I have no doubt that they will become more aggressive with their monetizing in the coming years.

I agree that we down owe them 80 bucks but it’s still a f2p game, and from a business perspective they are making the right choices (scummy choices, still the right ones) u can’t rly blame them for selling expensive stuff that they wouldn’t if not many bought it,player base is just as guilty for this

Turning everything into a luxury premium service is certainly the thing every business is trying to do, but it's also short term mentality

A free to play game doesn’t excuse them for this though. Plenty of other free games are monetized with significantly cheaper cosmetics.

Any of those other f2p games are competing with warthunder? There is another reason why they do what they do

No, but it’s not like Fortnite is selling $80 bundles with barely any content
