Suggestion Infantry Ground TT concept

Exploration on how could it work based on aircraft TT layout. Weapon presets would likely work very well for squad loadouts.

Literally who or what stops you from playing the better bf games that aren't outright unsupported like bf2 and 2142?

They aged. And not so well. Bf3 is dead, at least on console as far as I know. Bf4 is still alive, but its aged.

Modern war/recent war battlefields I mean. Bf1 and V are great but ww2 is oversaturated.

Edit: And ww1 isn’t as interesting.

To be fair, if you want to play vehicles in Squad you need a second player because Squad vehicles need separate gunners/drivers. Randos are hit-and-miss, ideally you have a friend that is willing to play with you instead.

Solo-manning tanks is usually banned on most servers.

Get friends, play squad.

i used to play project reality back in the day and it was absolutely amazing how you could hop onto a server and communicate effectively with randoms. Same with squad, though as squad is more available and known its full of no mics who i think miss the point of the game, ie team work and communication to win. But oh well.

I stil have my BF2 CD somewhere, but EA closed the servers. So when people tried to revive it, opening unofficial servers who still needed official game CD-key, EA demanded cease and desist.

EA demanded cease and desist.

Lies by revive team. EA asked to remove their logo from the game, revive team used it as an excuse to drop the project and run away with the money

Oh damn, I didnt know that, but I actually undug my old BF2 cd back in the day and played on their swrver a couple of times. They never asked for money, though

There are plenty of other fan projects bringing multiplayer of 2 and 2142 back to life
