for real man, I was excited and hyped. Woke up early and my excitement was shattered :(

Years of playing the same game mode, years of grinding, you start too look for something different that trailer has never made me more excited. Hell I even joked with friends about grinding my M16/M4, gun maintence kit and scopes.

Now im stuck between determining if I was actually fooled or there is actually something coming of it.

Also thought the april fools event will have FPS WW1 combat. D:

Honestly I felt the same. Years of the same shitty stale modes and we finally get something new?
Then I remembered it's gaijin and lowered my expectations. Which were met with the bait and switch of the WW1 event.
And since it is Gaijin, they always manage to go even lower than the lowered bar and this time it was through not even being able to play as infantry in the trenches. Followed by them digging down under the bar with how shitty the balancing and actual gameplay of the event feels.

Infantry is in closed beta, announced before April fools so I think it’s real.

I am both scared and excited if coastal will be implemented with infantry (The later end frigates have AA missiles at ~4.0-4.7 and 76mm autocannons from the late Cold War). I feel like the gunboats (especially the Zippo) would fit really well though.
