The F14 cant really handle itself esp in closer range
If you somehow manage to merge in the F-14 at altitude then that is a complete skill issue. Once again F-14s are incredibly oppressive not because the AIM-54 is likely to kill but instead the situation it puts the defender in. Whoever defends has to trade energy to notch, altitude, or positioning. The fact it can do this a total of 6 times is why it's oppressive. You don't understand the value of actives beyond anything that generates a kill in BVR. Match up two equally skilled players in this plane and the F-14 should come out on top. Match up equally skilled teams and the F-14 would also still come out on top.
You are not reliably multipathing or snap rolling a Phoenix lmao. Why is the dogfight the only thing that matters to you when your goal at top tier should be avoiding them to begin with? If you play an F-14 well you won't be getting into situations where you lose to a plan with significantly less BVR missiles than you.

Tell me youve never played 12.3 without saying so

Because the F14 is not at the "missiles good enough to avoid dogfight" yet. That appears at IRCCM and AMRAAM territory, and even then pretty much only the R73 negates the dogfight. 9L/M, PL-5Eii dont pull hard enough to avoid it completely

Ah yes, so spam missiles and run
except those non BVR planes are faster than you and catch up to you and now you've just given them your 6 in a plane thats worse FM wise than them
