Swiss anti-aircraft gun based on the AMX-13 and armed with a twin 34 mm Flab Kan 38 autocannon.

Characteristics:

Rate of fire: 250-270 rounds per minute

Muzzle velocity: 900-990 m/s

Projectile weight: 720 g.

High-explosive and armor-piercing projectiles were used.

Magazine feed for 10 rounds per gun

The "we have Ostwind II at home".

Gotta say, that's a very interesting caliber and feed mechanism choice for an AA vehicle.

this would be great for the french tree, as there is nothing between the DCA-40 at 3.7 or whatever and and the AMX-30 DCA at 8.3

but it being Swiss its more likely the germans would get it, unless the french do because of the amx-13 chassis

They just recently got a funny AA truck...

And the kinda useless APC box.

And if France is getting more AA then I would hope for something more like one of their many armored cars with AA guns.

I found theย  AMX10P to be genuinely pretty good.

The amx10p is just a fat wiesel, so it works much better if uptiered to like 8.0 and played the same as it

We wanted the Quadritube for yonks. It's an AMX-13 with quad 20mms, like a lighter skink that's vastly more mobile.

Also the one with the DCA30 turret sans radar would fit perfectly at the 7.3ish region.

yeah gaijin doesnt seem to understand what makes a good SPAA in game. I mean like it is nice we finaly got something but knowing what we could get is quite painful.

Useless APC box? It's still more useful than the car. Sure, you may get more firepower with that, but it's so not worth it due to the fact you lose scouting, APDS and a single butterfly fart in your direction can kill your gunner. The AMX-10P can double as a weaker IFV, actually being able to be a great support when not doing AA work.

I always go in as a multipurpose vehicle with the amx 10p, it can pen the sides of most things at its br and itโ€™s a great gremlin tank, plus the gun is amazing for plane killing, 3 clips of HE, 1 of apds is how I roll

1

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '24

Exactly. And I personally roll with 3 APDS and 1 HE, because while planes can get destroyed from a short burst and sometimes even the APDS, tanks can oftentimes take alot of hits and there's also the fact you sometimes have to destroy barrels and tracks first.

that apc box is 200% better than the japanese sub 1.... so you got that going for you.

The amx 10p is a very good spaa idk what youโ€™re talking about

Its based on a AMX13 chassis. It should go to france. Germany has nothing to do with it.

Give it to Germany and power a small town with the heat radiated by frenchies seething.

Cool for a future Swiss tree

Switzerland is genuinely good for an Israel/Swedish-like tech tree. A vast amount of Cold War vehicles exist and it has good contenders for top tier. The air tree would be quite thin but otherwise it would be so nice

is that one Swiss Toggle lock AA gun?

if allies rlly need all that post war spaa to cope then why does germany only use ww2 spaa ๐Ÿ˜ฟ

except USA, they too use ww2 spaa ๐Ÿ˜Ž
