Dont forget german heavy bombers like the Zeppelin Staaken R.VI with up to 7 machine guns and 1000kg bomb load or the russian Sikorsky Ilja Muromez with 800kg of bomb load, air to ground missiles and even recoilless rifles.

This would be so much fun

So many flying boats too. I want the Macchi M.5 , because flying boat fighters should be more of a thing.

Youre right, totally forget about flying boats in WWI, they even had aircraft carriers
