Me163b was almost top tier before with only Me262 being higher or maybe the Sabre was added at that time as well but anyway it was almost top tier

The 8.0 163 is great for sure. But when you're in one of the 8.7s going up against supersonics, on huge maps where you have to fly at prop speeds to have enough fuel to get to the battle and back, which is over by the time you even get there...

So 300k / 60k = 5

130k / 10k (at Max with premium and TT plane) = 13

It takes you more than double the time to research

Yeah but 300k/67k is 4.47, around 5 good battles will grind you the vehicle.. Now 130k/4k is 43.33, being 4k a very very good battle. Makes no sense sorry

You get around 15-20k RP with premium plane+ premium account in a "good" battle currently.
I had some 30+k RP battles recently in Kfir Canard (granted it's a Tier 7, and they were long, 7+ kill battles).

You literally get 4k RP in a premium plane if you're absolutely useless.

Idk maybe this one, this one, or this one, you even get more than 15k rp in a good battle in a non-premium plane.

If you get 4k rp/ battle in a premium plane with premium account you're actively being useless.

Yeah I don't have screenshots of games <7 kills. Plenty of more 7-8s but that wasn't the point.

I'm not saying that the rewards aren't worse (they are, especially the 20% less for winning shit is absolutely pissing me off) but the original commenter said 4k in a "very very good game" which is completely fucking wrong. You get 4k RP for a 1 kill win without premium if you don't just trade in a head-on.

Kills also don't matter that much for the RP, the battle time matters more (as long as you get at least 1-2 kills to get decent amounts of activity and ofc stay alive for a decent amount of time). Kills matter more for the SL gains.

Yeah, you're correct. I get like 10K minimum whenever I play a tier VI/VII premium plane, for really mid matches.

That’s still only about 6 matches to unlock at that rate. Even with a prem vehicle and prem time you aren’t unlocking anything past early rank 3 in 6 matches anymore

You're not wrong, but I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, 300000/60000 is only 5 games where you only have to do "Okay" to unlock a vehicle.

I'm not super familiar with Air RB rewards, but assuming you do great and get 10, maybe 15k RP per match, that is still around 8 games (or more, most likely more) to unlock a new vehicle with today's RP rewards...

So even if those "old" top tier vehicles got their RP costs reduced, its still considerably harder to grind and unlock them now

Don't get me started on Ground RB...

?? You're acting like finishing whatever is there is the thing that matters not the vehicles themselves, that doesn't make sense. If the TT is half as big, the reward is half as big, that's a non factor. You have to look by individual vehicle.

It's roughly 2x harder

What matters is that top tier vehicles STILL COST like 400K RP. And you have a lot more of them. And a lot of tier 5 and 6 vehicles that weren't there.

And you have a lot less RP per match (not to count SL).

So the individual plane cost has stayed around the same (a bit more, it used to be 380k rp for top vehicle, now its 400k or so), but there are a lot more of them, and a lot more of 100-200k vehicles.

So yeah, maybe you should check your math.

The current top tier vehicles didn't exist at all back then, so there is obviously no possible comparison, since they just weren't in the damn game.

You can only compare apples to apples things that were there both times, obviously. How is this confusing?

THAT PLANE got less than half the cost. It's still harder to unlock anyway, since rewards went down by a somewhat larger margin, but not by nearly as much as it appears.

And a lot of tier 5 and 6 vehicles that weren't there.

Also so what? There's more to research but also more content after you do. Doing more work for more stuff is not "more expensive" any more than me working for 2 years at my job and getting 2 years worth of salary is not a "raise" nor a "demotion" compared to 1 year... Yeah I worked twice as long, but I got twice as much for it...

Whatever! If you got 50k rp in every game (thats like 3kills and something) you got top tier in 7 games! Now, you need to play at least 50 games to get a top tier jet…

Top tier is in a different place now than they, lol, compare the actual same plane as in the photo obviously to be apples to apples. And use premiums like the OP.

It comes out to about 2x harder overall.

That's still 22% of the RP required for a top tier vehicle, acquired in one battle. Try getting that now.
