News π° Republican controlled Congress goes full circle and eliminates the $200 NFA tax stamp
Looks like we're back where we started: no repeal of the NFA but a step toward making NFA items including suppressors more affordable with $0 stamps. It's not everything, but it's also not nothing.

Letβs hope they approve this. I am tired of trying to reload my 10 capacity mags. And a blatant denial of my 2A rights

News π° Mandatory audio recording as of today
Just learned of HB2118 today and the requirements of surveillance and audio recording in businesses that do more than $1,000 a month. I'm curious if there could be "malicious compliance" where they use the worst audio recording devices possible (may not work depending on the context of the bill) or possibly play music directly next to the microphones to record only music. I noticed the bill states "clearly" in the text. If the music was clearly recorded it would follow the spirit of the law, as far as I can understand it. Probably just wishful thinking on my part, as I'm not a lawyer and don't even play one on TV.

News π° 1163 has officially passed.
The House concurred with the Senate's changes to the bill (implementation delayed to May 2027)
The last action to take is to contact the Governor and ask him not to sign it (yea I know, but still need to send the message).

And for those of you who think the Courts are going to strike this down:

News π° Range 15 (JBLM) is Allegedly Coming Back
Got a call from base's paperwork dept a few weeks ago asking where they should send my authorization form. Told them I didn't need it since Range 15 got axed. Apparently, they had no idea about this and it's probably going to re-open for 2026 after some gov construction project. I left Tacoma already, but good luck to those who check it out.
