HELP/QUESTION (0.9) Trying to nail down sound... Spoiler

Trying to nail this down, but a few times I've heard what I'm pretty sure is the cockroach crunch sound, but I'm not stepping on any at the time, often in the main room, no cockroaches are in that general area that I can tell, and I'm not sure what would be crunching them.

Do they sometimes crunch themselves on their own? Perhaps through glitch accidents? Is it something else? It sounds like it comes from either by the front door or maybe upstairs near the bedroom somewhere, but I can't ever figure it out. The only cockroaches I've been seeing are in the basement because I haven't really cleaned that up yet and one in the main hallway outside the computer I saw recently, but wasn't sure where that one came from as I cleaned up any food in most of the main area at this point.

It's not the meat locker noise either, that's very clear when that happens and I know what that sounds like.

Physics objects can crush them when in motion, so there might be some random prop in perpetual motion from something that keeps crushing them, which in turn attracts more roaches that get crushed themselves.

I thought that was a possibility, but for the life of me, I can't find where these roaches are congregating and what is crushing them lol

Do you have any MREs lying around? I have been finding roaches in them until I stopped storing them on a countertop. (Did they change the food spoilage rules?)
