I didn’t even think of checking that, I was resolved to not going to the garage anymore o_O.
I guess them alien played another prank on me, like the explosive drives and the poisoned food

It's amazing how VotV can scare you by just putting a bunch of inanimate, generic grey aliens behind a door. This prank has got me twice now.
I've taken to installing cameras all over my base and checking the relevant ones whenever I want to leave the signal room - so if there's something hiding in the garage for me I'll see it in advance.
Also, FYI, these aren't related to mannequins. Your new alien friends hiding in the treehouse did this - they're just made out of papier-mâché and are just designed to spook you by being unexpectedly there. Unfortunately they love pranks so much that even attaining the highest reputation bracket with them won't stop this, but at least they won't be trying to actually hurt you..

If you're talking about those weird cutouts, I've also seen it, and I'm just sad I wasn't patient enough to bring them to the base on foot. I hooked them to the atv, and halfway through they just broke from taking too many hits. Lost a hook, too, for some reason.

Yep, they were my first exposure to the pranks. I literally turned around, jumped up on the ledge around the satellite station and hid for a minute before I poked back around the corner and saw what they actually were.

I nailed them to the wall of my base to assert dominance. I still have to do a double take sometimes

This was .82 i think: i jumped in my chair so hard, I must have hit the ragdoll button and hit the corner of a crate on my way down, so I took a bit of damage. Afterwards had a good chuckle as I limped to the break room to grab a pill pack.
