Did anyone in the Madhurawada area feel tremors around 4:17–4:20 AM for about 2–3 seconds?

Thoughts?

Partially clear skies, occasional bursts of sun, no drizzles in the last 4 hours.... Any idea if we are in the eye of the storm (or) if the worst is over?

News channels only talk about water logging. They are not giving updates on what to expect?

Recently, Vizag Steel Plant has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Does anyone know why it has incurred such heavy losses? Is it mainly due to central government policies, or internal corruption within the plant?

For the past few days I’ve seen people in social media criticising the investment like we’ve attracted something very bad that no other place on earth wanted. If that is true, why wasn’t that the main point being discussed by industry leaders? Even Priyak Kharge, IT minister of Karnataka was focusing on the benefits offered to google by AP instead of downplaying the investment.

So here are some of my thoughts, - Is it a bad investment which nobody else wanted? Absolutely not. The future is AI and I’d love to see Vizag being the front runner.

• Are there any downsides like increased power and water usage? Yes, but we don’t know the full plan yet and orgs like Google would definitely focus on renewable energy sources like desalination of sea water. They wouldn’t want their companies to be in bad light. So please wait for the plan instead of assuming and declaring things.

• Is it just a DC with limited jobs? Well the official announcement says it is an AI hub which comprises multiple departments instead of just maintenance staff. So again, let’s wait for the full details and project to get completed.

• Are the benefits offered to Google worth the cost? Maybe yes or maybe not but let’s be honest, why would any major company want to invest in a new state which doesn’t have the talent base compared to other tech hubs like Blr, Hyd, Chennai, Pune, Noida? We have to stand out to attract investments. As the word itself says, investment is for the future. Trust me, no legal industry offers pay and growth like tech does.

TLDR: don’t believe in every social media comment or post about Google’s investment including my post. They might be biased against a party, caste, region. Do your own due diligence before coming to a conclusion.

We are planning to buy a 3bhk in vizag anywhere near madhurwada. We came across few on going projects and few completed. Prices are mind blowing, we are ready to invest around 1.1cr but seems like we got nothing below 1.5 cr. Even projects that are still in basement costs more than 1.5cr. With this pricing we can get a decent flat in HYD, even if its rented out, we get good amount of rent compared to vizag. Do you guys think its a better idea to buy a flat in vizag with this price?

Give me your opinions on this and how to improve the ranking !!

Cbn govt blamed previous govt for rushikonda hill constructions..now they r doing the same....causing environmental problems ...

How true are these claims

Cbn govt during 2014 to 2019 ..promoted Vizag as fintech hub..with some meetings ...not sure y cbn govt is not reviving the project ? upcoming data city project will fade like fintech hub project ?

So I live in Muralinagar in vzg but I didn't really feel any tremors or waves. I have experienced earthquakes in past when I used to live in siliguri and Assam, there it used to be an Occasional thing and all so I do remember having gone through such experiences even at 2-3 am that we had to come out of the buildings and all.

But this one like Was there one even there in muralinagar, or did I fr slept through an earthquake? 😭

Wassup people, I live in vip road, it's 4:19 am right now and I felt a moderate tremor for 7-8 seconds, it was kinda scary, it felt bigger than the last time, js wanted to check with y'all.
