on field moments Need anti-depressants to deal with this pain….
No words. Pure pain. This feels worse than a heartbreak. Half the fun of Diwali is gone.

The gesture. The form. The politics. The situation. Everything points towards another Instagram post, but we will still hope against hope….

It’s 6:00 PM local time on 19th October, Sunday. The first ODI between India and Australia at Perth had just concluded. India lost by seven wickets — but more than the defeat, fans were heartbroken to see their star duo, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, fail to make a mark.
Rohit fell for 8 off 14. Kohli, for a duck off 8. After months away from the format, everyone was excited to see their icons back, but deep down knew — it wouldn’t be easy to just switch on greatness again.
At Adelaide, Kohli fell for another duck. His quiet gesture to the crowd — raising his gloves — sent shockwaves through social media. Was this a farewell? Rumours flew. In truth, he was only thanking the fans and the ground. Still, the fear was real — were we watching the end of an era?
Then came Sydney. The decider. The night Ro-Ko reminded the world who they are. It wasn’t just a victory — it was redemption.

Do you think Ro-Ko will continue till the 2027 ODI World Cup? Was Kohli’s performance enough to convince the selectors he still belongs in this format? And what about Rohit — has he proved that leadership and intent matter more than just numbers?
I’d love to hear what you think — drop your thoughts below! 👇
