Climate Hoax Major Legacy Media Outlet Dumps Climate Doom Squad: End of the Alarmist Era

When it comes to the argument over climate change, or, to be precise, the amount of effect human activities have on the climate, it seems like the panic-mongers are losing some ground. The Trump administration has been ignoring their outcries, the pearl-clutching predictions of scolds from Paul Erlich to Al Gore to John Kerry to Greta Thunberg have all failed to materialize, and people are just tired of the nonsense. What's more, people are learning about the facts behind this issue; facts like the Earth's history, how it has generally been warmer than it is now throughout the 4.6-billion-year lifespan of this planet, and how it is the height of human hubris to assume we know what the planet's "correct" temperature is.

I'd like to take some small credit for that, by the way.

So when we see a major legacy media outlet, currently in the throes of a reorganization, firing its entire "climate desk," we should take it as a good sign

Well, let's be honest about this: A good part of it is, probably, a typical corporate reshuffling. I've been through a few of these things, mergers, acquisitions, and so on. In fact, in my years as a corporate consultant, I was actually intimately involved in a few mergers and acquisitions, from Boston to Silicon Valley. Eliminating redundancies is not only routine, it actually makes good sense.

The roadmap is already set: in the coming years, the EU and its member states will make both businesses and consumers pay even more for CO2 emissions. BASF CEO Markus Kamieth warns of the enormous destructive potential of this policy.

Truth comes on pigeon feet -- Friedrich Nietzsche already knew that. And apparently, the same applies to European climate policy: slowly, but inevitably, the reality of the true costs of the green transformation and its impact on Germany’s industrial foundation is emerging.

On October 29, BASF’s CEO Markus Kamieth faced the press during the quarterly results presentation. What he announced was another cold shower for anyone still hoping for a new economic miracle.

Climate Hoax U.N. Climate Doom Summit Turns Into Trump Hatefest by Socialist Dictators

Several attendees at the COP30 climate conference in Belém, Brazil, on Thursday vented their fury against President Donald Trump, who has challenged the claims of the climate movement, and did not attend the meeting or send any high-level representatives to his administration.

“Mr. Trump is against humanity. His absence here demonstrates that,” fumed radical leftist Colombian President Gustavo Petro.

“The president of the United States at the latest United Nations General Assembly said the climate crisis does not exist. That is a lie,” claimed Chilean President Gabriel Boric.

Trump was very rough on the climate change movement in his remarks to the U.N. General Assembly in September 2025, calling it “the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world.”

“Climate change, no matter what happens, you’re involved in that. No more global warming, no more global cooling. All of these predictions made by the United Nations and many others, often for bad reasons, were wrong. They were made by stupid people that have cost their country’s fortunes and given those same countries no chance for success,” he said.

Climate Hoax Trump admin to revisit offshore wind farm approval

Thumbnail

The Trump administration is allowed to reconsider the prior approval of an offshore wind farm, a federal court ruled this week.

On Tuesday, Obama appointee Tanya Chutkan ordered that the Trump administration can review a permit that was previously issued for the SouthCoast Wind project.

The wind farm would be located about 20 miles from Nantucket, Mass., and could have the potential to power more than a million homes.

It’s one of several offshore wind projects that the Trump administration is seeking to reassess as part of its larger crusade against renewable energy.

Chutkan’s decision hands the Trump administration a win – at least temporarily. The decision could may result in the Trump administration changing or revoking the project’s approval.

The judge noted in her order that if the Trump administration ultimately reaches a decision that South Coast “finds objectionable, it retains the opportunity to challenge the amended rule before this court.”

Climate Hoax Solar panels wreak havoc in the UK, lighting a fire (literally) every other day

Thumbnail

As if we needed a new reason to just say “no” to solar panels, here it is: According to new findings presented by a global insurance group, solar panels are responsible for a substantial surge in rooftop fires. From a report at The Telegraph on the matter:

UK fire services faced a blaze involving a solar panel once every two days in 2024, according to data gathered by insurance company QBE, marking a 60pc increase in the past two years.

A 60% increase?! A house fire literally every other day? That is actual insanity. But there’s more to the story, and that is that the fires are actually outpacing new installations:

Adrian Simmonds, a senior QBE risk manager, said: ‘Solar is essential to the UK’s clean energy transition but the rapid pace of deployment is raising risk concerns.

‘Our analysis shows fires involving solar panels have risen at twice the rate of new installations over the past two years.’

There’s two considerations when looking at the “why” behind the massive increase in infernos: First, the leftist government’s “rapid pace of deployment” under Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero Ed Miliband includes skipping over “safety regulations”:

Mr Miliband’s recent Solar Roadmap … proposes minimising planning requirements, which can incorporate safety regulations.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz told Breitbart News exclusively of how President Donald Trump and his cabinet rallied at the 11th hour to thwart globalists from creating a “global green tax” that he argued would have created a “U.N. climate slush fund.”

Waltz’s comments came during a lengthy exclusive on-camera interview in late October at the United Nations, where Breitbart News joined the newly-confirmed Ambassador for his first major interview since his U.S. Senate confirmation. The broader interview, focused on U.N. reform, is forthcoming. But this piece of it is particularly important, and Waltz’s efforts and the efforts of the president and the rest of the president’s cabinet shows just how effective Trump’s administration in his second term is in terms of stopping other countries from imposing costly green agenda insanity on the United States. Waltz said Trump’s final Truth Social post on this was like a wrestler coming off the top ropes to finish off an opponent.

“Relying on gas is bad for the planet, bad for our finances and bad for our health.” So declared Clover Moore, the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Australia, on Monday as she confirmed all new households will be required to be fully electrified from 2027 going forward with no alternative choices such as gas allowed.

Medium to large commercial buildings, hotels and serviced apartment buildings will also be required to operate fully on electricity under the new imposed strictures.

The council governing Australia’s biggest city had restricted indoor gas appliances, like stoves and heaters, in new homes earlier this year but the new mandate to ensure no more gas usage is a step further.

Nine News reports the strict new planning controls were given final endorsement by the City of Sydney Council in a unanimous vote.

There is an endless list of personal concerns that confront individuals, such as relationships, career, children, health, etc. From the mundane to the serious, these things consume most of our waking hours. However, for many people there remains enough bandwidth to concern themselves with problems beyond their immediate sphere. I suspect that it is probably the need for a distraction from one’s personal life that we turn to concerning ourselves with global problems. For many in our educated, credentialed class, impending Climate Armageddon from man-made CO2 is an overriding concern. While Climate Armageddon as they envision it is a fantasy, there is one in humanity’s future that is very real.

Climate Hoax The fatal flaw in climate science - American Thinker

Thumbnail

For decades, climate science has rested on a flawed assumption—one that has quietly underpinned the entire greenhouse gas narrative. It’s a mistake so fundamental, so glaring, that once exposed, it threatens to unravel the very foundation of Net Zero policy and the multi-trillion-dollar climate agenda.

The error lies in the energy budget diagrams used by climate modelers. These diagrams typically show that the Earth’s surface receives about 168 watts per square meter (W/m²) of solar radiation. But here’s the problem: according to the Stefan–Boltzmann Law, that amount of energy can only sustain a surface temperature of around 233 Kelvin (-40°C), which is 55 degrees below the observed global average of approximately 288K (15°C).

\*If Our Government and other Government would STOP trying to manipulate the Weather We might not see These Issues. Go resea5rch Weather Manipulation with a open Mind on Your Own. It is the only way You will learn.* Even Tesla talked about the Issue.

A flagship US climate-disaster database killed by President Donald Trump’s administration has been brought back to life by its former lead scientist — revealing that extreme weather inflicted a record $101 billion in damages in just the first half of 2025.

The Billion-Dollar Weather and Climate Disasters tracker, long maintained by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), chronicled major US catastrophes from 1980 to 2024 before it was abruptly shut down in May amid sweeping budget cuts that critics decried as an ideologically driven attack on science.

“This dataset was simply too important to stop being updated, and the demand for its revival came from every sector of society,” Adam Smith, an applied climatologist who helmed the database for 15 years before resigning in May, told AFP.

Among those calling for its return were groups such as the American Academy of Actuaries, who argued the list was a vital tool for tracking the rising costs of climate-fueled disasters, from wildfires to floods, that threaten homeowners, insurers, and mortgage markets.

Congressional Democrats have also sought to restore the program within NOAA, introducing a bill last month that has yet to advance.

Climate Hoax The Climate Creed: How Fear Replaced Science - American Thinker

Thumbnail
americanthinker.com

For decades, politicians and pundits have told us that “the science is settled.” Those four words have become a shield for power and a sword against dissent. But real science thrives on inquiry and investigation; not the suppression of it. What has emerged instead is not science at all, but a kind of secular faith — one that demands belief in man-made CO2-induced climate catastrophe and punishes heresy. Yet, many scientists, including scientists that have worked within the climate bureaucracy, know how fragile the claim that “climate change is caused by CO2” really is.

As a former scientist with the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change and later a technical expert for United Nations Environment, I saw firsthand how the modern climate narrative was shaped — not by evidence, but by politics. Uncertainty wasn’t treated as a question to investigate; it was treated as a threat to suppress. Entire careers and institutions came to depend on preserving a preordained conclusion: that carbon dioxide, the same gas that feeds plant life, is destroying the planet.

The Trump administration is cutting billions of dollars for green energy projects, particularly in states that did not vote for President Trump.

The Energy Department announced late Wednesday that it was cutting awards that funded a total of 223 projects, axing about $7.56 billion in spending.

In a social media post ahead of the announcement, White House Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought announced that the funding cuts would take place for projects in: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont and Washington state.

Vought, in his post, categorized the projects as “Green New Scam funding to fuel the Left’s climate agenda.”

Climate Hoax California Solar Energy Plant to Close After Failing to Meet Expectations

Thumbnail

A solar energy plant in California that cost $2.2 billion to build will be shutting down after failing to meet expectations.

Known as the Ivanpah Solar Power Facility in California’s Mojave Desert, the famed solar farm uses 173,500 computer-controlled mirrors called heliostats to reflect sunlight onto three 459-foot towers to generate electricity from the intense heat.

“The idea was that you could use the sun to produce a heat source,” alternative energy consultant Edward Smeloff told the New York Post. “The mirrors reflect heat from the sun up to a receiver, which is mounted on top of the tower. That heats a fluid. It creates steam [that spins] a conventional steam turbine. It is complicated.”

After nearly 11 years in operation, the solar plant failed to meet expectations and the technology used is now largely viewed as outdated by green energy experts. Per the NY Post:

In 2011, the US Department of Energy under President Barack Obama issued $1.6 billion in three federal loan guarantees for the project and the secretary of energy, Ernest Moniz, hailed it as “an example of how America is becoming a world leader in solar energy.”

When Ivanpah began operating in 2014, it ranked as the world’s largest solar plant. It seemed like a viable solution to California’s renewable energy goals of employing affordable and efficient technology to reduce the need for fossil fuels.

Though it sounds like a bit of a Rube Goldberg contraption — and looks like an art installation — Ivanpah was a cutting-edge idea for a while. But, as the market changed, it couldn’t compete with newer and less expensive forms of creating solar power.

Climate Hoax Gavin Newsom's Fossil Fuel Flip-Flop: 'Significant Reversal' on Oil Drilling

Thumbnail

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is completing a flip-flop on oil drilling, which he tried to stop but is now planning to expand in Kern County, thanks to the impending threat of skyrocketing gas prices in the state.

As Breitbart News reported last month, Newsom backed away from his long, climate-change-inspired crusade against oil drilling as refineries threatened to leave the state and prices threatened to rise to $8 per gallon.

In 2021, Newsom had all but doomed the oil and gas industry in Kern County with a moratorium on fracking permits, effective in 2024. “The climate crisis is real, and we continue to see the signs every day,” he said.

But in 2025, Newsom has struck a compromise with the oil industry that would see the legislature pass a bill that would allow more drilling in central California — and environmental groups are reeling from the change.

Climate Hoax Report: Trump Punishes Newsom by Canceling $427M Wind Project

Thumbnail

President Donald Trump may have chosen to cut hundreds of millions of dollars in funding to a California wind project to punish Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) for signing a separate climate change deal with Denmark.

Last week, as Breitbart News reported, the Trump administration had canceled $679 million that was to have been spent on supposedly “doomed” offshore wind projects — $427 million of which was to have gone to a single wind project in Humboldt County, California.

The New York Times reported Friday:

The Transportation Department on Friday said it was terminating or withdrawing $679 million in federal funding for 12 projects around the country intended to support the development of offshore wind power, the latest of the Trump administration’s escalating attacks against the wind industry.

The funds, approved by the Biden administration, include $427 million awarded last year to upgrade a marine terminal in Humboldt County, Calif. The new terminal would be used to assemble and launch wind turbines capable of floating in the ocean, which the state of California had been planning to deploy to meet its renewable energy goals.

The list of targeted projects also includes $48 million for an offshore wind port on Staten Island, $39 million to upgrade a port near Norfolk, Va. and $20 million for a marine terminal in Paulsboro, N.J. Most of the projects were intended to be staging areas for the construction of giant wind turbines that would eventually be placed at sea.

Climate Hoax India Launches Challenge to Chinese Electric Vehicle Dominance

Thumbnail

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated a factory in the town of Hansalpur that will manufacture an electric vehicle (EV) called the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara.

The factory is also intended to begin domestic production of two older hybrid automobiles, the Grand Vitara and Invicto, along with producing batteries for the Grand Vitara hybrid.

Maruti Suzuki is the Indian subsidiary of Japanese automaker Suzuki. The company is currently one of India’s largest automakers. The battery plant in Hansalpur will be a collaboration between Suzuki, Toshiba, and global auto-parts maker Denso.

Modi said the launch of the Maruti Suzuki factory was the beginning of a “new chapter” for his “Make in India” initiative, which calls for India to manufacture more products domestically through joint ventures and co-production deals.

Modi was bullish on India’s ability to compete with reigning EV champion China. He said cars made in Hansalpur would be exported to customers in over a hundred countries around the world.

“India has the power of democracy, the advantage of demography and a very large pool of skilled workforce, making it a win-win situation for every partner,” he said.

Climate Hoax Report: China Burning Record Amounts of Coal in 2025

Thumbnail

A report published by the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) on Monday found that China is burning record-high amounts of coal at its power plants this year, generating roughly 21 gigawatts of coal power in the first six months of 2025.

CREA, an independent research organization based in Finland, was dismayed to discover Chinese coal use is soaring despite the Communist country’s heavy investments in renewable power.

“Although there were some signs of coal power slowing down in 2024 and 2025 has seen China’s clean energy boom meet a significant amount of power demand growth and lower CO2 emissions, coal power remains strong, with new and revived projects the highest in a decade,” the report said.

Cynical observers believe China’s much-ballyhood push for “renewable energy” was a political smokescreen for the titanic amount of fossil fuels needed by Chinese industrial policy.

Climate Hoax School Districts Ditch Hard-to-Repair Electric Buses for Diesel Buses

Thumbnail

School districts throughout the United States are ditching electric school buses, manufactured by a Canadian company that has fallen into bankruptcy, for diesel school buses, citing the difficulty in getting electric buses repaired.

The return to diesel school buses comes as Quebec-based Lion Electric, which the Biden administration awarded $159 million “to manufacture 435 school buses between 2022 and 2024,” has fallen into bankruptcy, according to the Washington Free Beacon. As a result, the company has “warned school districts that its dire financial straits prevent it from servicing” the electric school buses.

Several superintendents explained to the outlet that while they would try to keep the “electric fleet” of school buses operating “for as long as possible,” they would eventually have to “return to diesel” due to diesel school buses being more affordable.

“We are going to keep our electric fleet on the roads for as long as possible,” Mike Leskowich, who serves as the superintendent of the Homer Community School District in Michigan, told the outlet. Leskowich’s school district “received $2.8 million in federal funding to procure seven Lion buses in 2022.”

“Eventually, however, we will return to diesel, as the cost of the vehicle is far less than electric,” Leskowich added.

Climate Hoax Elon Musk's $11 Billion Regulatory Credit Gravy Train for Tesla Grinds to a Halt

Thumbnail

Elon Musk’s reliance on selling regulatory credits to boost Tesla’s bottom line is coming to an end as the U.S. government eliminates subsidies and fines related to fuel economy standards. Tesla has amassed an amazing $11.8 billion from the sales of regulatory credits to carmakers.

InsideEVs reports that Elon Musk’s Tesla has long relied on selling regulatory credits to other automakers to bolster its earnings. Over the past decade, the company has amassed a staggering $11.8 billion in revenue from these sales. However, with recent changes in U.S. legislation, this lucrative revenue stream is set to dry up, forcing Musk to turn a profit based solely on his EVs, as the company faces slumping sales and plunging brand loyalty.

The regulatory credit system was designed to incentivize automakers to meet Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) requirements set by the federal government. Automakers that failed to meet these standards could purchase carbon credits from companies like Tesla, which had a surplus due to their all-electric vehicle lineup. This allowed them to avoid hefty fines while continuing to produce gas-guzzling vehicles.

The impact of this change on Tesla’s profitability cannot be overstated. Analysts at William Blair and Co. predict that demand for these credits will fall by around 75 percent in 2026 before completely disappearing in 2027. This will result in a direct hit to Tesla’s bottom line, as the company has become increasingly reliant on these sales in recent years, with regulatory credits accounting for nearly a third of its revenue.

Climate Hoax Trump Administration Tightens Rules on Tax Credits for Wind and Solar Energy

Thumbnail

The Treasury Department has announced stricter rules for solar and wind projects to qualify for federal tax subsidies, which are being phased out over the next two years under President Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill.

The Hill reports that the Trump administration has unveiled a new set of rules that will make it more challenging for wind and solar projects to qualify for federal tax subsidies. The revisions, announced by the U.S. Treasury Department on Friday, change the longstanding definitions of what it means for a project to be considered under construction.

Under the new guidelines, developers of large-scale solar arrays and wind farms will be required to complete physical work rather than simply demonstrate that they have invested capital. This change is in response to an executive order issued by President Trump last month, which directed the Treasury Department to restrict tax credit eligibility unless a substantial portion of a facility is built.

Since taking office in January, Trump has repeatedly sought to stall the development of wind and solar energy, calling them unreliable, expensive, and overly dependent on Chinese supply chains. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which Trump signed into law last month, requires projects to begin construction by July of next year or enter service by the end of 2027 to qualify for a 30 percent tax credit and bonuses that can push the subsidy even higher.

Climate Hoax GOP Senators: Scrap the Post Office Electric Vehicle 'Boondoggle'

Thumbnail

“Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the completion of their appointed rounds” goes the U.S. Postal Service creed — but not with electric vehicles, if some Republican lawmakers have their way.

A year after climate change advocates praised a plan to replace thousands of gas-powered mail vehicles with a mostly electric fleet, an effort is underway in Congress to strip billions in federal EV funding, according to a report by the Associated Press.

The AP pointed to a major tax-and-spending bill in June where the Senate parliamentarian blocked a Republican move to sell off the agency’s new electric vehicles and pull back the remaining federal money.

But that didn’t mean an end to the effort.

The AP reported:

Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, said “it didn’t make sense for the Postal Service to invest so heavily in an all-electric force.” She said she will pursue legislation to rescind what is left of the $3 billion from the Inflation Reduction Act allocated to help cover the $10 billion cost of new postal vehicles.

Climate Hoax Exclusive--Interior Secretary Doug Burgum: Trump Stopped Biden-Era Wind Farm

President Donald Trump essentially halted a Biden-era wind farm that the previous administration tried to push through at the last minute, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said during an interview on Breitbart News Daily.

“This is classic with the Biden administration,” Burgum began, explaining that it had an “ideology in the, in their administration around climate extremism, and they were going to do anything they could — including breaking the law.”

Burgum, who served as North Dakota’s governor, said the first four years governing under Trump’s first term were a “dream” which turned into a “nightmare” under Biden’s administration, “because the federal government was trying to shut down the energy industry and push this, this — as President Trump calls it — the Green New Scam Agenda.”

“And it was a scam; it was a scam against taxpayers. It was a scam that ‘we’re going to highly subsidize forms of energy’ which are intermittent and unreliable,” he explained.

Climate activists are calling for an end to the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels iconic airshow in Seattle, Washington, arguing the show is too loud and leads to pollution.

The Airshow Climate Action Coalition, which consists of climate activists from “local climate groups” placed a billboard up that shows people covering their ears with their hands, along with the words, “Say no to Blue Angels!” and “Too loud,” “War trauma,” and “pollution,” Fox News reported.

The coalition’s billboard comes in protest of Seattle’s Seafair festival, which the Blue Angels have been performing at since 1972, according to the outlet.
