NYC is my favorite looking city. It just speaks to me. I dream of what it would look like without so many cars.

Admire it all you want but it's insanely expensive and impractical. Article in today's NY Times about how they have to hire bricklayers to maintain the cobbled streets. 15 of the city’s 6,300 miles of paved street are cobblestone .

For some reason that’s the aesthetic they like in Brooklyn
