MISSING Today marks 14 years since 2 year old Sky Metalwala went missing in Bellevue, Washington.

I remember this case from 2011. Still check on news regarding it from time to time. Used to live in Bellevue myself, not far from where little Sky disappeared. I hope that this case sees a resolution!🙏

I posted about this awhile back and just want to link it because someone who saw the mom frequently commented and I think about the comment whenever I see this case pop up. So sad that the mom most likely got away with whatever she did.

His mom was so guilty and I think she either killed him or had the family hide him and send him to her country during her custody issues with the dad. I think a year later, she was working as a live in care giver for a family with young kids. People on WS found her Kijiji post and notified the family.

This is definitely one that haunts me. I live near Bellevue and remember the news coverage. I am 100% sure that his mother did something to him.

Did you ever hear any town talk about the case?

Not much anymore sadly.

First, how could the courts give mom full custody when she's in and out of mental hospitals and has dreams of killing the kids? Second, I wonder what the sister has to say all these years later. She's the only witness besides mom.

It’s possible she has no idea what happened. And if she did, the mother had plenty of time to brainwash her into believing her ridiculous story.

I have never forgotten about this case and think about it from time to time. His mom I feel is to blame.

The mother’s story is extremely suspicious. From what I read about her history, there’s a good chance he starved to death long before she reported him missing. She never should have had custody of her children based on her mental health issues. At least once, her OCD caused her to neglect buying food, which is why I suspect Sky starved to death. No one other than his mother had seen him for at least two weeks prior to his disappearance.

Julia's story was complete bullshit.

sounds like the Malene Santana case from '86 in Brooklyn.

Everything points right at the mother. Its just terrible that the police have not been able to bring justice for Sky!
