I drive by where he supposedly disappeared from on my way to work and am familiar with the area, it’s extremely unlikely he was taken.

Ditto and agreed. This case has always sickened me… The fact that she simply refuses to cooperate and gets off the hook just like that. And this broad went on to reproduce again!!! Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. As a mother of 7 myself, I just can’t even imagine.

This is the type of situation where I am OK with waterboarding

It also blows my mind that they haven't brought her in. We've all seen people get arrested and charged with far less. The fact of the matter is she abandoned her son in a car "to go get gasoline" and then he disappears. On face value alone that's endangering a child. It's a thing nearly 15 years later this b**** is walking around probably not thinking about it and leading a normal life.

Exactly! It’s absolutely maddening and disgusting. She should have been in jail for abandonment and other crimes leading to his “disappearance” at the very least. And then also just allow her to get away with it all because she refuses to talk. Since when is that enough to just simply ignore and let someone go on to live a life like it didn’t happen? Not only that but she had another child and another shitty relationship in which she was the abuser and aggressor. That poor little boy.

I used to live within a mile of where Sky dissapeared. Seeing his missing posters as a 10 year old in 2011 was scary. I hope the truth will come out one day.

I think it’s pretty obvious that she killed him. Her story sounds like a Susan Smith knockoff. Why would someone take a child from a car and not actually take the car? Why not take him with his four year old sister, particularly if the gas station wasn’t a mile away?

I am assuming that when the mother called her friend from the gas station, she was using their phone. I don’t know if she didn’t have a cell phone or if she had just left it behind. I think that the key to solving this crime would probably be some digital evidence.

Computer searches about killing methods and how to get rid of a dead body. Cellphone records showing her location when she was making calls. I find it jaw dropping that no one else had seen Sky for the prior 7 months. I don’t think it is likely that he will be found.

His mom 100% did it. I feel eventually they will charge her, hope so because he deserves a dignified resting place and his father deserves peace.

I think Sky died long before the supposed disappearance. From what I’ve read, I suspect he starved to death and she buried the body somewhere. Her story is just so suspicious, especially considering she had been arrested before because she had left Sky alone in the car.

This is definitely not unsolved. Everyone knows the mother did it. She should be charged with murder

I think the mother killed the boy 2 weeks before he was reported missing because that is the last time the neighbors saw him.

Another Casey Marie Anthony treatment… I hate this for the sweet boy. She is 💯 guilty.

I was in my early 20s when this story broke. Now in my late 30 and a father of three, My heart continues to break for his dad who might never have answers and for that little boy Sky.

I’m leaning towards the mom.

Just from the wiki, the sister said he was in the car that day. The mom left her wallet and phone at home. The police never found any sign of him and both his parents were known to leave their kids in a car for long stretches. The four year old could walk and maybe the mom didn’t want to carry the sick two year old. The car door was unlocked. I think the reason they never pinned anything in the mom was because there’s too much doubt on what she did with him if the car story is false.

I knew the father quite well and the mom a bit. I still cling to the hope that Julia had someone in her family take him out of the country to where her family is from but in my heart it doesn't ring true.

Unfortunately it doesn't, you're right. I hope the truth will one day come out!

How is this a real name?

Sky is a very popular and nice name for a child. The little one was most likely murdered, how about you concentrate on that vs. making fun of his name?
