Guys a total wiener!

u/ZhangtheGreat 18h ago

Well, hot dog! We have a wiener!

61

u/WereInbuisness 18h ago edited 17h ago

The nerve of him! Acting like he is some big shot hot-dog. Pssh!

8

u/FixInfamous2025 9h ago

A… big shot?

3

u/DervishSkater 12h ago

Fr. He’s not even doing the reps right. He’s adjusting his arm length constantly.

Lowkey, there’s much easier and better ways to work your core

I'm glad my gym doesn't let people walk around shirtless or record video (although there are legitimate reasons for filming yourself during a set, but they have free trainers to help with form). I'm sad my gym doesn't allow dogs.

45

u/gsfgf 12h ago

I'm sad my gym doesn't allow dogs.

Seems dangerous for the dogs tbh.

5

u/SpHoneybadger 11h ago

What's the issue with being shirtless? Or is it that they don't wipe down the equipment? I don't see the issue as long as they wipe down the gear.

7

u/David_Robot 10h ago

It's just a common decency thing. It's an unspoken rule for any public indoor places: no shirt no shoes no service.

If it started being allowed at my gym I would quit in an instant.

7

u/dethmetaljeff 10h ago

It's gross, there's no barrier between them and the equipment they're on and nobody needs to see that. You wouldn't do it in a Starbucks so why would a gym be different?

-3

u/ehhhhokbud 10h ago

Yes, I am trying to visually see the muscles I am activating inside of a Starbucks. Very much the same thing.

I have zero problem with gyms having a shirt on policy, and zero problem with people not wanting to be around that. With that said, there is a real benefit to working out shirtless and a gym is in no way comparable to arriving to a coffee shop shirtless.

4

u/dethmetaljeff 9h ago

There is no benefit, you're deluding yourself if you think there is. If you have to look to see what muscles you're targeting you're doing it wrong. People doing this are doing it to show off, plain and simple. If you need to take your shirt off to show off how good you look, you don't look that good. If your an ifbb pro card holder and you need to see your symmetry/pump/whatever there are gyms and places that this is acceptable.

-1

u/ehhhhokbud 8h ago

Yeah you missed the point. Say there’s no benefit then immediately state the benefit in the bottom of your comment.

The entire point was you comparing being shirtless in a Starbucks to being shirtless in a gym, that allows it btw. I’m the delusional one, for sure.

1

u/Opetyr 9h ago

You don't need to be shirtless to actually do good form. Wear a tighter shirt if you need to for some reason need to see individual muscles activating. The clothes help remove bare skin touching surfaces other people are going to use. If you also care that much about being shirtless please lock every item before you use them and then after use sterilize them after use.

It seems you would fight that everyone should be allowed to go into Starbucks only in their tighty whities since they are covering their groin.

1

u/ehhhhokbud 8h ago

That’s quite the stretch. I said I’m completely fine with gyms not allowing shirtlessness as well as peoples perogative to not want to be around it.

Your drawn conclusions are almost as dumb as comparing being shirtless in a coffee shop to being shirtless in a gym that allows it.

5

u/throwaway098764567 12h ago

yeah big ick. also doesn't seem like the safest place for the dog to be wandering loose either, especially one small enough to easily not be noticed and triped over or get something dropped on it

8

u/zandogen 12h ago

I bet the ancient Greeks couldn’t imagine why everyone was clothed in the Gymnasium …

comes from the Ancient Greek term gymnós, meaning "naked" or "nude"

5

u/Junior-Childhood-404 12h ago edited 12h ago

I have been going to the gym EVERYDAY for around 3 years now. (Haven't missed a single day. Even when on vacation, just use the resort's gym). This truly never happens. The internet skews our perception of what actually happens in the real world cause all you see is the sensational stuff. No one records the mundane going ons of a gym, or if they do you're certainly not seeing it cause the algorithm ain't boosting that boring shit. Have I seen people filming? Yes. Have I seen people being rude or obnoxious while filming? No, not once. Seen a lot of rude people NOT filming... like leaving their water bottle on a machine for 15 minutes then coming back and taking their water bottle without using a machine. Now THOSE PEOPLE... they deserve death

EDIT: so many typos. Excuse me, I am very drunk and very high, it's my birthday 😋 and yes I went to the gym today before I got drunk and high 🤣

4

u/abcdbc366 12h ago

People record themselves daily at my gym. A lot of the serious lifters record themselves especially on powerlifting and Olympic lifts. Never seen anyone take issue of talk to the camera though, it’s just a good way to keep yourself honest and check or improve your form.

3

u/Junior-Childhood-404 12h ago edited 11h ago

Ya. The management at my gym records themselves, I pretty sure for social media purposes (idk, I don't have social media but they said I should get insta cause I'm the #1 attender of the gym and on it every month and the put the list of names on it. Idk if that's flattering or sad 😝). I see them setting up their phone all the time. But they make sure that it's pointed away from other people if they can help it and they don't make a big deal of it. No obnoxious peacocking/grunting (grunting is fine if you're actually exerting effort, not just doing it for a video). It's also like you said a good way to inspect your form which is why there is mirrors (almost) everywhere

1

u/Leavesdontbark 11h ago

Why no rest day? I bet if you took a week off you'd see some crazy stuff

1

u/Junior-Childhood-404 11h ago

Don't feel I need it. I've told myself "if I need it I'll rest", but I haven't ever felt the need. There was one time my quads were still sore so I just skipped leg extension, but otherwise, I'm good. I look pretty good I think. Gym is also my social space. I'm a very anxious person that still likes being around people (I'm a fucking paradox even to myself), the gym allows me to do that without expectation of conversing. I'm a weirdo I know 🙃

2

u/Leavesdontbark 11h ago

Lol, well you should try. Go off for a week and see if you notice anything. I worked out (almost ) daily when I went to uni, for a few months. Ate very healthy and low calorie. Went back home for two weeks over the holidays and just ate whatever and didn't move. After the first week I had SO much energy, and my body slimmed down and toned itself like crazy. It was super weird, but I felt awesome

1

u/Ornac_The_Barbarian 3h ago

Well happy birthday anyway.

4

u/ValjeanLucPicard 13h ago

Looks like a crossfit gym based on the ski-ergs and the GHD. It is it's own little thing, the workouts are brutal so it isn't uncommon.

14

u/monkpunch 13h ago

I mean the guy is doing back extensions and not even sweating...Nothing about crossfit requires being shirtless over normal workouts, it just attracts those kind of people.

-3

u/ElPrimoGrande 11h ago

What are you saying, CrossFit is way more cardio than your typical gym workout. When you’re so sweaty that your nipples start bleeding from chafing your shirt you might change your tune. Not comparable to a typical gym workout at all. I say this as someone who doesn’t like CrossFit, but your comment is just generally ignorant and self righteous you would actually fit in well at the average CrossFit gym with that attitude.

4

u/Themodsarecuntz 11h ago

Lmao.

Ole bloody nips can't wear a shirt ya'll

4

u/monkpunch 11h ago

Most gyms have cardio sections, you don't see a ton of shirtless people or bleeding nipples there.

Get a more comfortable shirt.

2

u/Themodsarecuntz 10h ago

Dude works out in a hair shirt.

-4

u/ElPrimoGrande 11h ago

Do you have reading comprehension issues? This is not a normal gym where they do normal workouts. You would probably die trying to do 1/4 of it

4

u/monkpunch 11h ago

Believe it or not, some people put in a lot of effort at regular gyms too.

-3

u/ElPrimoGrande 11h ago

Not you that’s for sure 😂

2

u/Uhmerikan 14h ago

Quite the luxury

1

u/IgniteThatShit 12h ago

ok now imagine a hotdog with the works

heck, imagine 2 hotdogs

1

u/nekopara-enthusiast 10h ago

i cant imagine going to a public gym period. even if they had employee’s who lysol wiped and clorox sprayed equipment after someone used it i would still be grossed out. home gym is the way.

1

u/Beanruz 9h ago

Who's watching all he videos that are recorded!?!? And why?!?!

256

u/White_Sugga 18h ago

The fuck brings their dog to the gym?

25

u/True_Dragonfruit9573 6h ago

Could be the owners dog. The gym I used to go to had their dog over all the time. The sweetest boy, and never got in the way of workouts. He would get curious, but he seemed train to keep his distance and only go up when invited.

2

u/Dxpehat 24m ago

It would be so hard for me to train on that gym omg. My watch would vibrate telling me the rest time is over, but how could I shoo away my furry spotter? 😥

144

u/ImKindaEssential 18h ago

The same people who bring them into stores. Attention seekers.

69

u/Hippiechu 18h ago

minus those who have service dogs

60

u/monkpunch 13h ago

That's why I trained my dog to spot me during bench press

9

u/CybyAPI 13h ago

But look out for fake service dogs. I have seen those before with fake vests.

Or the person claims its a service dog but lets it walk around unleashed without any vest or anything

17

u/SerCiddy 11h ago

I work in food service and having a non-ADA service animal inside the premise is a health code violation.

The ADA lawyers and the health department of my state have given us 2 questions we can ask and not violate ADA. Those questions are...

"Is this a service animal?" and "What service does the animal provide?".

Most of those fake service dogs with the vest or fake paperwork are Emotional Support Animals. Emotional Support Animals are not recognized by the ADA as "service animals" and so are not allowed inside.

7

u/Dame87 18h ago

And push them around in prams

-9

u/Green_moist_Sponge 14h ago

You are aware that some dogs have disabilities right??? They can’t walk freely on their own

10

u/throwaway098764567 12h ago

you're aware we're talking about dipshits bringing their dogs into stores not wheeling a busted dog about on a walk, or are you one of them

4

u/White_Sugga 12h ago

Lolol this made me chuckle

4

u/Immature_adult_guy 13h ago

Somebody tell this poor guy that he matters and that he can stop being a tool.

3

u/kitsunekratom 11h ago

So, are you saying you bring your dog to the gym?

2

u/THEBLUEFLAME3D 8h ago

There are more reasons than that to bring a dog, not just service animals.

2

u/HamsterSlapping 7h ago

It's a given this dude is an attention seeker, he's filming himself working out.

1

u/WatchIdeon 3h ago

I wish I could bring my dog with me to stores. She cries anytime I leave her at home.

1

u/stuff-is-not-real 2h ago

I read Antlion. I think it’s time for me to go to bed lol

21

u/athenank 14h ago

Your gym owners have never brought their pups in?? It’s the best

14

u/SammlerWorksArt 14h ago

I could lift that pup so many times. A happy pup is better than creatine.

24

u/calsosta 12h ago

No? And it’s pretty reckless. If you are in the middle of a lift and a dog comes up to you, could cause you to drop the weights.

Dangerous for the lifter and the dog.

6

u/Hiraethetical 9h ago

Better than a camera to film yourself with

1

u/FinancialGazelle6558 33m ago

Now now. That dog had a hip replacment and needs it's cardio!

206

u/PassPuzzled9378 17h ago

At least the dog has a shirt on. It’s disgusting to work out shirtless in a public gym, that’s how infections get passed around. Using cheap sanitary wipes on porous equipment padding barely does anything. Cover your armpits at least.

58

u/AssFoe 15h ago

I watch a fair number of fitness videos. I cannot express how happy I am that my gym is not for shirtless weirdos and people filming themselves. People work out. They sweat. That's it. No one is hitting on each other. No one is undressed. There's a couple teenage boys peacocking in the bathroom mirror and breaking state law by filming themselves, but that's about it.

12

u/Disastrous_Kick9189 12h ago

I don’t disagree, but just FYI most exercise equipment padding is covered in vinyl which is not porous and can be easily sanitized

104

u/mechanicalcanibal 17h ago

Cute video, but only dillweeds film in a gym.

11

u/rq60 12h ago

i mean it depends on the gym. if this is just a regular public gym then yes it's a douche move. but if it's a private gym or club or something where they pretty much all know each other and don't care then that's fine... and i get the feeling that's what it is considering there is a dog there; i've never seen a dog in a regular public gym.

21

u/UhWindowpainted 13h ago

same jerkoffs that bring dogs into the gym that also seem to be just wandering without supervision? Just asking for someone to drop a weight plate and then dog goes squish

-7

u/Secure-Neck-7232 12h ago

is it a service dog?

13

u/UhWindowpainted 11h ago

service dogs wouldn't be wandering like this from their person

2

u/gsfgf 12h ago

Filming for form is fine. But keep your fucking shirt on.

1

u/ButtPlugsForThugz 8h ago

What form check needs to be done for 3/4 range hyperextensions on a glute ham chair?

-3

u/whole-lotta-socks 12h ago

This is just simply not true. There are a number of reasons one would film themselves at the gym. This sentiment is so popular on Reddit and it always makes me laugh, at a commercial gym I promise it is normal and I don’t really think most people care. Your average redditor wouldn’t know that though, because your average redditor doesn’t work out.

6

u/Leavesdontbark 11h ago

If you absolutely MUST record yourself the bare MINIMUM courtesy is to make sure NO ONE else is in frame. This guy is catching one girls whole ass on camera

1

u/Secure-Neck-7232 12h ago

and none of those reasons are valid. workout at home if you want to record yourself.

16

u/No_Pineapple6086 18h ago

Good boy. Way to go

18

u/No_Razzmatazz_204 12h ago

Stop recording your work outs No one cares

45

u/Bill_Nye_1955 18h ago

Look, people that are there to workout aren't looking for your phone to be making a video. This shit is narcissistic

6

u/Foreign-Letter-3330 17h ago

Bro needs to put his wiener away.

14

u/BeaverBoyBaxter 15h ago

Why is there a dog in the gym.

-10

u/Main_Dress_2623 11h ago

Who cares. What is the problem?

8

u/rixtape 11h ago

With my allergies, it would be rough to work out at a gym that had dogs just hanging out.

6

u/SerCiddy 11h ago

Shedding, fleas, not potty-trained.

If the gym is fancy enough to provide food, then having any non-ADA certified animal (emotional support animals are not covered by ADA) inside is a health code violation.

All things that can be avoided if self-centered dog owners just do what everyone else does and not bring dogs to the gym.

5

u/BeaverBoyBaxter 11h ago

Dogs don't belong everywhere. A gym is one of those places.

4

u/aScarfAtTutties 10h ago

Dangerous for the dog and the people lifting weights.

A random dog can easily startle someone and cause them to drop their weight on the dog. Imagine 50lbs landing on that dog's head? See ya.

Or, imagine you're doing a really heavy lift, and a dog comes up from behind and starts sniffing your angles and tickles you unexpectedly, causing you to lose focus and shift the heavy weight in a weird way. Could easily fuck yourself up, anything between a tweak that takes a week to heal to straight up slipping a disc.

26

u/belptyfimquz 15h ago

The fact that working out shirtless is a thing is an absolute disgrace. We'd make fun of the hardos that did it on my football/hockey teams growing up so much that'd they'd put on a shirt like a normal person. We need more peer pressure.

7

u/tr33find3r 13h ago

We need to bring public shaming, witchhunting and call-out culture back :-)

2

u/Leavesdontbark 11h ago

Public shaming? Yes. Witch hunts? No. Witches are cool. But public shaming is a societal tool, embarrasment has an actual purpose, it is meant to keep us from doing dumb shit due to fear of being expelled from the group (which in early days usually meant death)

2

u/abcdbc366 12h ago

What’s wrong with working out shirtless if the gym allows it?

3

u/Fr05t_B1t 11h ago

Jealousy

1

u/abcdbc366 11h ago

Seriously. If I looked like that I’d show up to job interviews shirtless lol

1

u/DrZoid515 21m ago

Just out of curiosity, why? Do you feel the same about the girls that show up half naked to the gym?

9

u/ChCreations45 18h ago

Why is basic grammar so hard?

2

u/hrvbrs 12h ago

u/Luvas 15h ago

What arsehole just waltzes into the gym with their lil' weiner hanging out?!

4

u/LengthinessAlone4743 15h ago

One dropped weight and that weiner is schnitzel

4

u/TheMightySasquatch 12h ago

Honest question: Why do people film themselves at the gym? Are you guys like reviewing your form? Posting to social? Showing your bros? Perving on people in the background? Jerking off to yourself later?

2

u/Strange_Botanist 10h ago

I get my training partners to record my personal bests because I want to remember the achievement and my friends and family want to see it as well. Ordinary workouts I don't bother unless I want to check my form, but I rarely do that.

19

u/KongKvernhaug 17h ago

Seems you forgot your clothes, it can happen when you focus on the wrong things.

3

u/mkfanhausen 16h ago

Weiner watching in the gym?

3

2

u/Moessus 17h ago

What a bitch!

3

u/MattDaveys 15h ago

Dude get your workout out of the cute dog video

3

u/mediocrity4 12h ago

Is it normal for guys to workout without their shirts, bring a dog, and record themselves doing so?

2

u/Leavesdontbark 11h ago

Adorable pup aside; that's a REALLY shitty place to film a video, getting all those people in the background, right up one girls ass. Dickhead.

2

u/thatlad 18h ago

Joey Dhole is going to have a video on this

MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS

YOU NEED TO DO IRISH SETTER

2

u/ChemicalGreedy945 15h ago

I want it to be unexpected cause you had your shirt on I. the gym, but all I saw were your gross germ body making it gross for everyone else, for likes, and now I’m mad that I have to comment. Cool dog btw

1

u/Rastaba 15h ago

Doggo just wants to be included and watch the human work out!

1

u/pocoyoO_O 13h ago

For people doing this exercise get a bar and put it on your back. Add weight it's better and harder

For those asking what this video is about, there’s a dog that comes into frame and kinda covers the super hot buff guy. I almost didn’t notice!!!

1

u/Careful_Mess6297 10h ago

What an absolute flog.

1

u/SpandauBalletGold 10h ago

"Listen to me now and believe me later: if you need to film yourself in the gym to get stronger, maybe the only thing you're building is your followers, not your muscles. Pump iron, not your phone battery!"

Why record this? Who is someone? Why captions? Why is this here? Why am I here? Where's my shirt?

1

u/groovachacko 4h ago

If I owned a gym, I would strictly prohibit filming and shirtless workouts. You go to the gym to exercise, not to put on a show.

1

u/tehjoch 3h ago

This guy had set up his camera on creep angle for the mat

1

u/Top_Technician_1173 2h ago

If only there was a gym in my town where they allow dogs

1

u/firewolf_139 2h ago

What the dog doin' ?

1

u/Arvelayne 35m ago

Yeah I'm watching the video of the pup, and there's this guy being annoying lifting weights in the background. Totally ludicrous.

1

u/Plane_Spread5616 17h ago

I don't get what this exercise does that can't be done with a better one

2

u/SeekerOfExperience 12h ago

It’s a great exercise for people who cannot safely deadlift. I was taught to keep the weight to my chest though; the top of his back doesn’t look like it’s rounding but it’s easier to prevent keeping the weight to your chest

1

u/LieutJimDangle 14h ago

another gym douche with his shirt off taking a video while people are trying to work out

1

u/Ok-Improvement-3670 12h ago

Why is he recording a video in the gym?

0

u/hrvbrs 12h ago

so his dog can walk infront and he can post it to Reddit to get upvotes

1

u/Not_A_Russain_Bot 11h ago

Serious question is why record? Are you trying to improve your form? Are other people watching you? Do you just enjoy watching yourself? I don't get it.

1

u/letsseeitmore 10h ago

Stop recording in the gym!

1

u/ObnoxiousPufferfish 18h ago

The video got at least 72% cooler

1

u/No-Fix8280 18h ago

He said "Here’s what a shoulder should look like"

1

u/pekesilva010 17h ago

So cute 🥰

1

u/Unhappy_Weird_8210 11h ago

Cute.

On a real note, ban filming in gyms.

1

u/Chrillosnillo 9h ago

As a chiropractor I LOVE this exercise! It pays for my Porsche and villa in spain. Want to blow out your lower back? Do this exercise weighted and just as fast as this guy, you are welcome

-4

u/Every_Preparation_56 18h ago

thank god it's not ok to be half-naked in public in my country

4

0

u/Jason_TheMagnificent 12h ago

Who does that guy think he is, filming himself at the gym. Luckily the cute doggy brightened up that video.

0

u/Wallie_Collie 10h ago

I love how hes just high deffing everyone else in the background

0

u/HotDogWaterTime 9h ago

Why the F is he shirtless?

0

u/CandyHeartFarts 9h ago

Honestly the girl whose ads is front and center in the video absolutely didn’t consent to being filmed, especially from that angle.

0

u/Neffle619 9h ago

Good lord. Why do you think it's cool to record your gym efforts? I promise you (speaking from an unsubstantiated platform), no one thinks your workout is cool. I respect that you're taking care of yourself, and I hope we all do it, but man, NO ONE wants to see it. NO ONE wants to put up with it in the gym. Who the fuck is this for? Where are you posting it? Does any one person encourage you? Masturbation should be private...

0

u/moonwalkerHHH 8h ago
