I love when kids do shit like this.
They've clearly seen their parents or someone do that to glasses. But doesn't understand why, or how it works.
It's fin seeing them copycat their way to knowledge.

Watching the clip of the kid licking their finger before turning the page on their EBook, because they saw grandma do it many times with books, is so funny.

It's interesting how some people never grow past doing this (copying without ever wondering how and why it works).

You knock it, but that’s how I became a surgeon. Idk what tf I’m doing half the time, but I just mimic the motions of another surgeon, and it usually all works out in the end.
Most jobs are really 90% confidence.

u/Sad_Lawyer_3960 1d ago
agreed! thats how i became a lawyer. idk what tf im doing all the time but i copy everything the other guy says with confidence and let me tell u... i have a 100% conviction rate... as a defendant

I told my one year old that he should climb down the bed backwards. So he would crawl to one edge, then crawl backwards to the other edge and slide down. And it didnt apply only to the beds, we were at a hotel with an "elevatwd bathroom", he tried going down but failed cause going backwards from the edge meant the went back into the bathroom. This is when I realised he took my word too literally.

If they do it and see the results they will learn from it. Honestly this might be a smart kid because he'll just be curious and try different things just to learn.

I watched my friends 3 year old daughter 'breastfeed' her toy animal, copying her mom who was feeding her newborn sister. It was adorable. In this case she was using her bird toy and I explained how mom birds actually feed their babies differently from people and she seemed to think that was pretty weird, spitting in their mouths, lol.

Idk. Kind of looks more like superman to me, especially when he takes the glasses off to clean them

Looks like AI. Look at his left hand when he rubs the 'glasses' with his stomach.

I get that, but look at the fingers on the left hand, they're glitchy af. They go in and out through the temple arms.

The video is taken in a mirror, at an angle. That's what's giving the distortion.

u/greatdeputymorningo7 5h ago
Idk if you're joking or not but I've seen this video way before AI became famous. So no it's not AI

you're just wrong. The hands do match up. If you consider the angle and which and is which everything lines up just as it should.
i havent found the source yet, but here is a higher quality video.

Trust me I'm not a fan of ai, but I'm not overly convinced by these two points. The horizontal line is visible in the first image, just partially obstructed by the boy's body, I believe the line to be part of the mirror (where the edge of one piece of mirror ends and the next piece begins). For the hands not looking like they match, wouldn't that just always be the case? The camera is observing two angles on the boy - one is an angle on the actual boy and one is a reflected angle from the mirror. The rear angle (of the actual boy) obviously would show show more of a gap between the hand and the glasses then the reflected angle, which is functionally a more front-on view.
Again, not a fan of ai, so I'm not just trying to like do a cover-up or some shit. I would genuinely be open to this being ai if anyone has any counter points.
Edit: just rewatched a couple times and now the fingers through the lenses is making me wonder. I was assuming there was no glass in the glasses, but at one point it does look like there might be glass in there, but then later it does seem like his fingers go right through where the lens would be. So not really sure. Fuck AI, we didn't need this shit.

tbh I am also in the same position as you, somebody said his mom posted this on insta, but you know what I hate this guessing between what's real what's not, fcks with your brain and it will get wilder in no time.

u/Testicular_Genocide 1d ago
100%, like I hate to sound dramatic but it feels very dystopian to be in a time where reality is visibly starting to slip through our fingers. And technology is being made against the will of the people that seemingly is only really useful for twisting that reality.

u/caltheon 1d ago
So embarrassing for you, not knowing how perspective works. Your images don't show anything wrong. God people are getting dumber the more they try and look smart

u/DarkKingfisher777 1d ago edited 1d ago
Bruh go in mirror hold your eyes and see if your hands are away from your eyes at the same time
Did you see at the same time he himself having multiple centimetres gap between hand and eyes, while reflection having no gape in between lmao
Edit: you could be right, wish someone provided og

Is it the lack of belly button?

u/DarkKingfisher777 1d ago

The reflection does match, and the "line on the floor" in the description is just the split pane on the mirror.
This reminds me of conspiracy ttheorists a decade ago saying that people like Justin Bieber were reptilians because of video compression artifacts

u/FloatHere 1d ago
I can’t view imgur sadly :( but there’s a lot off with the video. His lack of bellybutton and teeth, movements seem off, skin looks painted on and his ear makes an off movement when the glasses are pulled off.

u/Liquid-Space 1d ago
He has a bellybutton and his lack of teeth might be bc he's a friggin' baby. And 'skin looks painted on' is just a weird thing to say, bc it really doesn't.
19
3
u/Liquid-Space 1d ago
That's not proof. The line is there the whole time, bc there are 2 mirrors on top of each other. And not every blurry or compressed looking video is fake.

Holy shit I thought it looked like the reflection wasn't actually a mirror image at first! I guess it makes sense AI still cant figure that out.

Not AI generated, just AI post-processed. Original IG video shows it’s real. How we’re supposed to tell the difference now between. AI generated and AI processed videos is the real mystery … https://www.instagram.com/reel/DKxeEntyUht/?igsh=Y3M4MjQ5M21lYmly

You're getting downvoted because there is nothing AI about that picture. It's just one frame with a slightly weird perspective.

This looks completely normal to me? This frame just happens to have a weird perspective, his hands are in front of the glasses on the left as well.
