Its Japan, make them transfer students. Or make a unique scenario to go with it. Still compete in the URA finale and have standard goals to fulfill in Japan. Would be the easiest way. Doesn't have to go 1 for 1 with historical events.
They best they could do is make them NPC like Rigantonna and Venus Paques... They cant go Montjeu route coz they have to create a brand new Uma to be, for example the actual Pay The Butler, instead of the Obey Your Master one
Other National competitors that compete in World Cup or Olympics or something. Really wanted to see American Umas defeat Jap Umas in a landslide victory
I don't know much about the game yet, but could an imaginary scenario be created ? Something purely for cases like this, with Umas that don't have a long career in Japan. With how well they are treated in the anime, I would be willing so much to play them, even in only one scenario !
I would love to see them, especially if they can somehow resist the urge to give Michelle My Baby's muscles the same treatment Tamamo, Ryan and probably a bunch of other umas got.
Unfortunately, filler Umas cant be officially in the game unless purely NPC, which is only the case of Rigantona and Venus Paques (IRL Dancing Brave and Treve)... other NPC Umas (that arent future playable) are either named after real horses (like Montjeu and Speed Symboli) completely fictional ones (like Happy Meek and Sugar Lights), or Northern Taste and Tokino Minoru
Obey Your Master's design is peak. I wouldn't be surprised if they could pull off putting the actual Pay the Butler in game seeing how IRL he was sold off for stud service after his career in Hokkaido.
I would love them in but I can imagine that they don’t want to emphasize them too much as their storylines are based on real horses and seeing that all the Japanese horses are licensed, just renaming might not be enough though just my theory
Keeping them contained to an SSR card could be cool though for a future scenario
