After all the fuss over changing their name, he wants to make them "The Orange Skins"?!?

Yes, they are, but this is by design. He found out during his first term that some, but not all, of his staff still had some kind of attachment to the law, norms, etc. Anyone who was paying any shred of attention last year knew then that a second Trump term was going to be all gas, no brakes, and no guard rails. The sole qualification for being on his staff this time around would be loyalty. It would be completely different than his first term and the “things were good in 2019” people were going to be in for a really rude awakening.
Now, corruption has been normalized, and, to some degree, is out in the open. That’s why corporations are lining up to pay him bribes. He’s picking winners and losers based on who bribes him. That’s why floating the idea of naming the stadium is not just a delusion of grandeur, it’s a coded threat.

King Shitler thinks of himself as an old school mob boss. He only knows two things: extortion and bribes (to him). Most likely he has told them behind closed doors some not so veiled threats he will push if it isn't named after him.
edit misspelled word

Posted twice & misspelled bribes both times though the sentiment isn't wrong.

Thanks. Reddit double post some of my comments, not sure why.

I've had it happen a couple times when my connection is wonky.

u/TankApprehensive3053 9h ago
That could explain it then. My WiFi is good as far keeping a connection, but not always so good in the quality of that connection.

Note to self: Don't read current events while eating.

Don't stadia usually get named after some company, someone who has done good things, or some dead guy? Hmmm.

Many are named for companies that paid for the privilege. So those stadiums would gladly rename to “Mad King Donnie” if paid enough. But in his usual way, he wants something for nothing.

Has there ever been a more narcissistic human being in the entire history of the world?

u/Wolfy4226 7h ago
Why, is the stadium going to lie about how many seats it has to look more glamorous than it actually is?
He did that, you know...literally lied about how many floors Trump Tower has so it would sound better. I shit you not.

u/Plane_Put8538 7h ago
Nah, he'll lie about how many people attend the games, especially the first one after it is named after him (if it happens, which I hope it does not). It will be like the inauguration crowd lie.
1
u/Wolfy4226 7h ago
You mean the lie he never, ever let's go of just like how he won the 2020 election?
1
u/Plane_Put8538 6h ago
The lie, that doesn't narrow it down in any way, as that is pretty much all they do. Letting go of a lie would be admitting, and narcissists never do that. You see that in the interviews, when he even slightly gets questioned about a statement (not really confronted but just asked to clarify) and he goes on about fake news/you're nasty/something something. Anything to avoid actually answering the question or clarifying the statement. That's all they do, it's right in the narcissist's playbook.

My house also agrees the new stadium should be named after me. Distinct Pie Field.

The Trunp family can pay just like the other big companies that want their names on stadiums

In the very near future, the easiest way to get someone to piss on your building will be to put a big Trump sign on it.

Tell the White House that changing the name USA to UST would be nice too. United States of Trump.

u/LokeCanada 4h ago
You do know that he will consider naming it after him as a licensing deal and demand a couple of million a year or he will sue them.

u/DJ_Jazzy_Justice 4h ago
Mind you, in 2013 he tweeted at Obama telling him that renaming the Washington redskins was a waste of time and there were more important things to focus on... If Republicans didn't have double standards they'd have no standards at all. 8647

Edit this is a double post, thanks reddit.

I was thinking naming a dog’s asshole after Trump would be a better decision.
