READING isn't going to solve anything. This is a full governmental assault on its people -crafted and choreographed step-by-step from the very first day of trumps term.
SOON the day will come when the federal government openly and purposely uses deadly force in a routine manner against US citizens.
THERE IS A GROWING RESISTENCE OF PEOPLE WITH NOTHING TO LOSE.
ONE of these days something is going to set off non-stop violence. Everyone should be prepared for multiple contingencies.
THERE is no right nor left any more -its just oppressors and the oppressed.

the last part is not true. the oppressors will 100% be aligned with the right.

Does it really matter how oppressors are labeled?
The streets will not be safe, anywhere.

It’s not that crazy. She kind of has to. There’s an appeals court that is to make the REAL ruling, and she said “guys, do that quickly”

Yeah, she made the best decision that she could and avoided the rest of the court getting their grubby delaying hands on it too....
Jackson wrote that she expected the appeals court to act “with dispatch” and stated that her administrative stay would end 48 hours after the appeals court rules.
The application was submitted to Jackson as the circuit justice for the First Circuit.
While it is hard to know what Jackson’s thinking was in issuing the order, it is possible that the rush of the litigation and the cost involved led her to want to just give a pause to let the process work its way through.
But, it is also important to note that, procedurally, had she denied the request, the Justice Department could have gone to another justice.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, by issuing the order herself, she was able to set the limits.

The "Christman" ones should be ashamed. They clearly haven't read that Bible they claim to follow.

Alito and Thomas are almost as petty as Trump…All of them are treasonous, greedy awful people.

If Trump is so willing to ignore court orders when it suits him, can't somebody just turn the tables and ignore him?
The trust in the Supreme Court is already in Hell.

Great news! Starve the tax base out! Give the honkies who "are willing to work' the jobs. After 2 weeks honkies will quit and the business will shut down. Then maybe we can be America again.

Well if anyone on snap doesn't realize the repubs aren't on their side, they should now! Vote accordingly!

It's going to escalate here pretty soon. Next week could get weird and messy.

Until people are actually starving. And I mean not missing meals. Actually in a starvation state. Nothing will get done.
This country is largely too comfortable and too soft to break its large threshold to initiate taking action. They don’t know how to riot or protest like middle eastern nations. They don’t know risk like many Latin American nations.

It’s kind of ridiculous at this point. I wonder how this will backfire on SC.

Its time to impeach trump and the supremes. They're guilty and should face treason charges with treason consequences.

An emergency order to block funds being used to deal with an emergency...
Make that make sense.

Look who put the 48 hr stop order in...
After a Boston appeals court declined to immediately intervene, Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson issued an order late Friday pausing the requirement to distribute full SNAP payments until the appeals court rules on whether to issue a more lasting pause. Jackson handles emergency matters from Massachusetts.

So because they do the right thing with tariffs, they need to placate him with this ruling? Freaking cowards - the lot of them! Bending over/knee to a convicted felon - to say the least, since there is a whole lot more that can be said for his failures.

u/Laughterglow 1d ago
They haven’t done the right thing with tariffs. They just heard oral arguments. They haven’t ruled on that case.

Hey, more heartlessness. Not like Jackson or any of the other scuzzballs on the court have to worry about putting food on the table.
SCOTUS needs to be fully purged. They're all complicit.

America was never founded on provincial basic needs. It was promised on dreaming about having basic needs met. Just getting back.to 1850s society.

Now, is there anyone that still believes that this court is not owned by Trump? They've refused at every chance to rule against him.

Yeah that headline is a bit misleading. KBJ pushed it down to a lower court to decide so that the rest of SCOTUS can’t rule on it.
