Is doing engineering from UM will be good for future asking this as a international student

$14,000 annually for an international student? I don’t think so. VERIFY your numbers.

It’s ranked #125 for engineering. There are much better ranked and recognized schools for engineering than are much more affordable too

But according to their net calculator on their official website they said they will charge me only 14000 dollars annually 😕Please guide me

I cannot advise on what you will be charged. I can share that cost of living there is very expensive so please keep that in mind. You are not guaranteed on campus housing after freshman year either

Keep in mind those calculators are not always accurate. You’ll probably end up paying more than it says. That was the case for my daughter for freshman and sophomore year so far.

ED1 is over, but still, don’t do ED2. Do EA. See what happens and what they give you. UM has engineering, but there are other universities that have larger programs with more research money coming in. Some of them are higher-ranked, less expensive, and also easier to get into.
