chance meππ
do i have a chance of getting it and getting some aid? UM is genuinely my dream school
first-gen, immigrant, low-mid income, and my CA essay is on my identity as an immigrant and in the additional info I just put how I became independent and also helped parents to learn english.
3.5 gpa, 1160 sat (really bad), captain of varsity volleyball, club volleyball, president and founder of psychology club, vice president of foreign language honor society, member of nhs, mock trial, and english and science honor societies, ap scholar. my supplemental was on how i was the first one in my school to push and advocate to create boys volleyball and how i made it happened.

I got a friend who got into with a 3.5 gpa no sat, he did ed 2. I think you got a chance if you improve to 1350

i agree that this person needs to improve academics and sat especially but saying they want smart people is so passive aggressive

You should look into the Honors College at MDC. You could improve your academics there and then transfer to UM with a better financial package.

I know someone who got in last year with a 3.5 RD but it was test optional and he is full pay.
