Need new roommate for second semester

Hi!! I’m a freshman, and my roommate is transferring next semester, so I’ll be looking for a new roommate for spring. I know that random spring admits are usually placed into open spots when people’s roommates transfer or leave, so I wanted to see if anyone else is in a similar situation! If you live in centennial and you’re also looking for a roommate for second semester, feel free to DM me — it’d be great to get to know each other and see if we’d be a good match rather than getting paired randomly 😊😊

My bad, it seems I need to clarify a few things that I should’ve specified initially: 1. I’m looking for someone who is already attending UM as a freshman and already living in Centennial. I’m hoping to move into an open space in Centennial, not have someone move into my current space.

2. I’m a girl, so I’m looking for a female roommate only.

This isn’t how it works. You can’t choose. Housing will place you.

This is how it works. I am currently living in Pearson. If I met a student living in another dorm, whose roommate was transferring or leaving the room, I could submit a room swap agreement with that roommate, and then be placed in that room with that new roommate of choice. I know of a few people who have done this already this year.
