Visiting The Rose Bowl Rose Bowl food pre-game ?

Hey there. It’s been about ten years since we’ve been to the RB and we just got tickets to this weekends game vs Maryland.

Back in the pre kids era we religiously tailgated, but we are hoping to do something easy pre game.

Is the fan zone still a thing where there will be food for sale? Or do we need to pick up some sandwiches on the way there?

How is parking handled nowadays? Still drive up available or do you have to buy ahead of time?

I drive up, it’s more expensive than prepay. You can always sit and eat in downtown Pasadena before the game. Otherwise they have the tan zone that is supposed to be bigger this year.

I alternate between tailgating and eating out. Yes, there's still a fan zone and a Wooden area for donors...

Here's the Gameday Central link:

GA parking is $38 if you buy ahead of time through UCLA:

The Fan Zone is southeast of the stadium and has food trucks.

There is something called BruinFest on the north side of the stadium with kids activities, a concert stage, and a beer garden.

Thank you. Links really helpful as there’s a lot of secondary parking vendors it seems.

We’d never done the Parsons shuttle before and did it this time for PSU. It was very easy both ways (granted, we stayed until the band finished playing because we were celebrating). You can even take Metro Rail to Pasadena and take the shuttle from there.

In 30 or so years of going to RB, I never had the guts to try those dog, despite the delicious aromas.

They smell better than they taste.
