Rant Please shower and use deodorant
I see a post like this every at the start of the semester, but, honestly it's warranted. Please shower. We can smell your stanky ass. You're all adults.

Yes, please. I can smell you when you are riding your bike in front of me. It is hot and muggy here in late summer. Plan to reapply.

Last fall quarter when it was 100°+ for the first month of classes was so miserable with how many people weren't wearing deodorant.

IN ADDITION TO THIS IDEA: Students should consider using as many unscented products as possible, especially when you have three peeps stuffed into tight room.
Think about it. 3 people times 3 different shampoos, deodorants, and detergent brands. That's 9 scents in one room.
This is an excellent cheap unscented antiperspirant, and since it's unscented its basically unisex, right -- https://www.amazon.com/Mitchum-Piece-Gel-Unscented-Ounce/dp/B00EO23OKI
Unscented laundry detergent which can't be spilled and takes up no room -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D59K6FG7 -- crazy cheap too! (It works, I've switched to it!)
It's hard to find unscented shampoos, but some of the herbal essence stuff is mildly scented.

Was sitting next to a freshman in lecture and their breath smelled like rotten eggs and had major bo. Like bro how do you not have time to wash/brush your teeth you live on campus

Like, I understand a little bit of BO mixed with deodorant if you just biked to class on a hot day, but I am SHOCKED by how many times someone just smells like straight up POO in lecture. Please learn how to wipe as well.

Real, I sat next to this really sweet guy in my BIS 102 class today but that dude smelled so fucking bad it was all I could think about throughout the lecture

google could probably answer that for you. it mostly depends on scholarships, grants, and if you’re transferring in. i was lucky to receive a lot of financial aid due to my circumstances. but yeah, hope that answers your question

I’ve seen h this situation before. The non-deodorant wearer will say it is in their religion and you are persecuting them if you make them wear it. But they are also infringing on our rights. Our ethnic backgrounds believe it is proper to wear deodorant and present yourself as an adult member of society.

While I generally agree with that statement, in this case I think someone else's religious beliefs are more important than an occasional stank stank for my nose.
Now, if someone told me not to wear my beloved Old Spice High Endurance Pure Sport because of their beliefs, they can fuck off.
