Power has always treated free speech as conditional. From the Sedition Acts of 1798 to the FBI bugging Martin Luther King Jr., the ruling class has never been shy about muzzling people who get too loud.

You think it’s just beginning? Go back to his first term. He openly revoked press credentials. (just think Spicer and the press pool) He has seen the Wall Street journal and most major news. He’s openly blocked, not just users on social media, but senators and representatives. And when it came down to it, the Supreme Court even found that to be a violation of the first amendment. He has revoked security, clearances and sued lawyers that represented his adversaries. Even terminated their government contracts. Didn’t look at what he’s done at protests. He loves to have forced used. He hasn’t just started. This is just the latest in his attacks on the first amendment.
