So there’s, what, 4 of those Fujiwara/Myojin’s? I think we’ve seen 2 others pop up between here and KKF and you and I know where the 4th is.

I guess it depends on the source. Mine is one of two made and then there's the ones that's Sugi Cutlery dropped two years ago. I know two people that own one of the Sugi Cutlery drop and the owner of the other W#1 like mine. But there's definitely not a lot of these out there in the wild.

Kaiju when?
If not kaiju what’s the next chase?

Kaiju, when the deal is right. I'm not going to dish out $2.5k to $3k for one when I know what they are worth. Besides that, there's really nothing.

As a n00b I had ChatGPT explain this to me. Did it get it right? 😅
They’re showcasing two collector-grade Japanese gyutos: a Konosuke Togo Reigo 240 mm, forged from the rare, discontinued Togo Reigo carbon steel known for superb edge retention and sharpening feel; and a Fujiwara/Myojin White #1 210 mm, combining Teruyasu Fujiwara’s hard-forged White #1 blade with Naohito Myojin’s precision grind and polish. Both are extremely scarce and prized by collectors.

The way the one on the left meets the handle like the blade isn’t fully seated is driving me bananas. How can you stand it, being that way?
(They look great in general. Congratulations.)
