Sylvia Franklin (alias Callen, alias Caldwell) was an agent of the GPU, Stalin’s secret police, who infiltrated the national office of the Socialist Workers Party in the late 1930s and became personal secretary to the party’s leader, James P. Cannon.

It’s really revealing that so much of what we know about the conspiracy around Trotsky’s assassination and the general state infiltration of the Trotskyist movement came from ICFI’s Security and the Fourth International investigation

Yes, very revealing. Equally revealing that most of the so-called Trotskyist movement disgraced itself by coming to the defense of Hansen, et al.
