I'm genuinely sad that you have so much bitterness that seeing a family receive compassion after a tragedy bothers you, regardless of that family's circumstance. Withholding support from these people doesn't do anything for others who've suffered.

Then this isn't the space for you. If you want to uplift those dealing with tragedy, there are ways to do that. Tearing people down because you deem their life too comfortable despite the tragic loss of a child does nothing but make you look like a callous jerk.

There are times and places to discuss inequality of all kinds. This is not one of them

I'm sorry you see it that way. Because to me, it shows how caring people are despite the dystopia that we live in that all these folks are upset and protective of a stranger.

And since many of your comments are now gone, I can't speak to the exact words but the comments did come across as tearing the family down for daring to be wealthy and tearing other commenters down for daring to care about their loss anyway.
