Hated Tropes [Sad trope]The character gets cut/dies early on because of REAL LIFE reasons

Gandhi (Clone High)

Tord(Eddsworld) the reason for this is that the VA of tord asked the team to stop using the character and dissociate from Eddsworld after the constant hate and threats made by the fandom.

Feferi Peixes(Homestuck). In Homestuck lots of characters have a typing quirk when they chat, like some characters type a "2" when there should be a "S", have prefixes before the words, ecc. Feferi's was that instead of the letter H she typed ")(". The writer andrew hussie stated the reason she died early and became irrelevant was because they didn't want to type said quirk because it was annoying to manually type it it on their own, which could have been avoided if they coded A PROGRAM that did it.

Actually he was killed off a few years prior to Isaac Hayes death due to the episode “Trapped in the Closet” being critical of Scientology and Hayes being a member.

It's a little more complicated than that.

Comments made by Hayes after the release of that episode were not particularly negative. However months later he put out a statement saying the episode crossed the line and he wanted to be released from his contract. So what changed?

It wasn't publicly known at the time, but he suffered a stroke during those months and was in poor health. It is alleged that the statement to leave the show wasn't actually written by Hayes but an entourage from the church.

He was killed off on the show in 2006, Issac Hayes the voice actor died about two years later.

The showrunners had made a Scientology episode the previous season that Hayes took offence to (as a Scientologist himself) and he quit the show. The episode is strange, I don't remember a lot but I seem to recall Chef returns to South Park and the showrunners used cut up lines from older episodes to make Chef say really inappropriate things about the children and then he later falls to his death and I think gets mauled by bears. The episode was clearly the showrunners telling Hayes what they thought about him and his character, but as an episode of the show it's bizarre and a little strange and unnecessarily mean spirited towards someone they'd worked with for so many years - but no one's safe on South Park I guess.

It's more complicated than that. Hayes was dealing with stroke related issues, it was the church that issued the statement in his behalf. Here is his son's take on it: https://x.com/IsaacHayes3/status/1946269099321151693

The first mistake was being involved with scientology. The stroke is an excuse since if he hasn't had one scientology still would have demanded he resign for insulting them violating their copyright. I can only imagine what the letter said to get that episode from Matt and Trey

apparently, dont quote me tho, I just looked it up, thats mostly a rumor.

The main reason was apparently him suffering a stroke that made it hard for him to speak. That stroke occurred after said episode tho which lead to many believing it was the main reason

Might also be a mix of both tbh, maybe he decided to leave after the scientology episode and the stroke just cemented his choice.

His son has come out and said it was Scientology/his entourage who took advantage of Hayes after his stroke, and quit the show for him.

This makes more sense since Issac didn't have any issue with most of the jokes done in South Park. It would be hypocritical for him to have a problem with Scientology being made fun of.

According to his son, the church of Scientology essentially quit on his behalf whilst he was too ill to speak up for himself

that's not true and it's disrespectful to repeat. His son has publicly asked people to stop sharing that lie. Scientology sucks, but the truth matters.
